I had a deeply disappointing experience at this building due to discriminatory policies. Upon entering to browse jewelry, I was stopped by security and denied entry solely because I was wearing a hijab, which I wear for religious reasons. Despite our efforts to calmly explain the significance of the headscarf and that we were there as regular customers, we were told it was the owner's policy to deny access. This kind of religious and racial profiling is unacceptable. Everyone should have the right to shop freely and feel welcome, regardless of their faith or appearance. Instead, my friends and I were turned away simply for practicing our religion.
I am extremely disappointed with this establishment. My friends and I were asked to leave simply because we were wearing head coverings (hijab). This is unacceptable and discriminatory. A business that treats paying customers with such disrespect should not be supported. Jewelry is meant to represent beauty, culture, and identity. Yet this place chose to exclude us for expressing ours. No one should ever feel unwelcome or judged because of their faith or the way they dress. I sincerely hope management reflects on their actions, make appropriate changes to personnel, and mend their ways to choose inclusivity over prejudice in the future.
I think I walked into the wrong area. Does anyone pay spot for gold in the building. I sold 2 philharmonic quarter rounds coins. I should have sold them right next to my house. Instead, I drove all the way to Miami, thinking that I would get spot, or maybe more. It was kind of an experiment, and I ended up taking 5% back on each one I lost about $40 on each coin. In total, about a $100, I understand people have to make money, but when you sell a coin like a philharmonic. And it's a quarter ounce, you're going to make about $50 on the coin itself over spot. If you can say no I sell it for spot. No, you don't. Nobody does. If so, give me your name your number and I'll start buying all my gold coins from you. I was trying to get 2% back. I thought it was fair and I ended up taking 5% back. I needed the cash at the time a little bit I could have done without. I really don't like philharmonics. Anyway, but still, it's like a big hustle. Maybe I just walked into the wrong places. Somebody offered me a $150 under spot. Terrible. And then the next day, gold went up a $100. It's funny, everybody says I'm taking a chance, so is the person with the gold. I'm selling you gold, and it's been so up-and-down that from 1 day to the next, I could be losing a ton of money as well. We all take a chance we all buy it. And people say, well, it's my business, you think I don't go to work and earn the money. I mean, it's just stupid. There's a reason why there's the comex. Their spot price, and then there's 1 to 2% back. I mean, come on, sell it for 1 or 2% over the cost. Buy it for what it cost.
A building full of many jewelry stores with any and all type of jewelry. We bought a Lazaro Davinchy Forever Fine Jewelry near the entrance. We dealt with Lazaro the owner super nice person. Very pleasing and makes sure you are happy and satisfied. Good prices.
