I’m very very late writing this review, but I had to give credit here! I hired Rebecca for my wedding hair and makeup, and she was truly amazing. I have thin, curly hair that’s very difficult to style, and she made it look beautiful and I felt comfortable all night while being able to wear my natural curls. My makeup was exactly what I hoped for: natural, fresh, and still very “me.” Beyond her talent, her presence on the wedding morning was such a gift. She brought a calm, steady, positive energy that helped make the whole getting-ready process feel relaxed and enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Rebecca is a true artist! I appreciated her attention to detail and her eye for color and design. Her specialty in natural looks was just was I was looking for for my bridal make-up and hair; I wanted to still look like myself at my wedding! She was thoughtful between my hair trial and the big day and even made some tweaks that improved an already great style and it held up all day!
Rebecca did two lots of hair and makeup for me recently - one at her studio and one at my house. She did the most beautiful work and I was really pleased with my ‘natural’ look. It held for hours, despite one involving a shoot that ranged from sweaty and humid to windswept beach. Bonus, she is super friendly and a wonderful conversationalist :)
Rebecca did an AMAZING job! I was hesitant to get my makeup done at my wedding because of really wanted a natural look and did not like how I looked in makeup other times I had it done. Rebecca listened to me and really knows how to do a natural look! She did both my hair and makeup and I was so so happy with the results. She was easy to work with and listened to me and adjusted! Highly highly recommend!
I can’t say enough good things about Rebecca at ShineForth Weddings. Rebecca did my hair and make up for a small family wedding ceremony in January 2024. I wanted a natural look that still looked special for the big day. I absolutely loved how Rebecca made me look and so did my husband, who was a bit skeptical of professional make up and was worried I might not look like myself. He loved it so much that he encouraged me to hire her for our big wedding celebration in September 2024 (little did he know I had already decided to!). She and her team did hair and make up for me, my mom, his mom, and 7 bridesmaids, and everyone looked natural and gorgeous. Rebecca is kind, thoughtful, and puts you at ease on what can be a stressful day. I can’t recommend her enough.
