I've been going to Sierra Deli for 20 years, and this place has never let me down. All of the food is fantastic. Best bahn mi I've had anywhere, seriously tasty Sierra burger, a meticulously constructed vegetarian sandwich, addictive tarragon pasta, and incredible cookies.
This place is a great corner deli to grab a sandwich and a drink for lunch! Every sandwich I've tried there is delicious. It stays busy too, so the food is always fresh!
This is a local gem. Sierras is Jack London’s best kept secret. Their food is always great. Especially their Vietnamese sandwiches. The meat is marinated and seasoned well. These banh mis are the only ones I’ve seen with tomato and avocado but I am actually not mad at it lol. Great bread and meat and pickled veggies. The price of a banh mi is double the price you can get at any other banh mi spot but it’s ok. If you go during rush hour (lunch) there might be a small wait - well worth it. Sierra is a one-stop shop for those who live in JLS as we don’t have a grocery store. Grateful for them!
Fabulously equipped for deli and marketplace needs. Street parking. Called in early for a large group order to beat the crowds and they were ready upon arrival. They have sandwiches, bahn mi, burgers, fries, curly fries, onion rings, salads, baked good, beer, deli sides, soups, won ton soup, chips, coffee, ice cream and more.
Realmente disfruto este lugar. Están ocupados, pero atienden rápido y la comida es realmente sabrosa. Consejo: prueba la hamburguesa. ¡Es genial!
