Having no paper forms is ridiculous!! My 83 year old mother couldn't see or read anything of the forms she was signing. This stressed her. Not acceptable. No one should be REQUIRED to download an app to visit a Dr's office. If anyone I care for should get referred here, I will strongly recommend that they get a referral to a different organization. The woman was dealing with at the front desk should have a refresher in patient care. She cared not. The gentleman was very nice. The ladies we saw were also pleasant. Wait time was reasonable. We were definitely the only ones that took issue with the forms app.
Update. I Did in fact reach out to the email given in the response from the owner and they never replied. Don't go here if you're looking for physicians and staff that care and are honest about their business practices. They will treat you like a number here, and lie and say they take your insurance when they don't. I called to schedule an appointment it's a call center. They took all my insurance information and told me they were a provider. When I went in for my appointment front end staff assured me they took my insurance. I waited an hour and a half past appointment time to be called back. I asked questions and for advice on skin care and my condition I wasn't given any answers or guidance. When the MA set up the PA's tools she didn't wear any gloves. She was touching cutting instruments with bare hands. They reset the tray but treated me like I was silly for asking, even though I told them I was prone to infection. They also set out band-aids when I told them I was allergic to latex. The most disappointing of all was I later learned, even after all their reassurance, they are NOT an in-network provider and I was hit with a huge bill.
NP Parmeet Singh was very thorough. She took time to explain the diagnosis & treatment options. She did not rush. Showed compassion. Appt was at 2:30pm, my son had been seen and received treatment and we were out of there at 3 o’clock. Very professional!
Got checked in. MA asked a few questions about my chief complaint. Then proceeded to let the PA know that I was ready. It was my first appointment at this clinic. At no point in time did anybody attempt to take my vitals. Are those vitals not needed here? I saw Charmi PA, she doesn't seem to be very knowledgable about the drugs she's prescribing or my symptoms. At least that's what it seems like to me during our discussion. At some point during our appointment she said that the yeast that's causing dandruff feeds on steroid. I went back to do my research and this is in fact, not true. Overall, I had a very interesting experience.
I am satisfied with my provider and their assistants. Unfortunately, the front desk staff ambience has spiraled downward recently. I've witnessed at my appointments the front desk staff: ○Are not welcoming ○Audibly talk negatively ○Seemingly not acclimated to front desk procedures ○And most importantly: Make a PRIORITY of their LUNCH delivery orders over their task at the front desk of the SCI office.
