I had a dress and matching jacket from Zara altered here as their sizing isn’t great. Once tailored by Smart City it looked amazing and fit perfectly. Reasonable prices too and they had it all completed in plenty of time. Absolutely would recommend!
I’ve had half of my wardrobe tailored here. Esa is a lovely guy and always very accommodating. I’ve had some complex alterations done here without any problems!
I'd stopped in today to get my jacket amended with new press studs. They were able to fit them the same day, which most places wouldn't. I'm really pleased with the results and would highly recommend if you're looking for a professional service in the Northern Quarter
Dry cleaned my Six Stories bridesmaids dress perfectly! After the wedding it was covered in make up, dirt from the floor and spilt drinks. I took it here for dry cleaning and it’s come back spotless! See before and after pics of the bottom of the skirt. I’ve also had multiple pairs of trousers and a men’s suit altered here and have been happy with the result.
Extremely disappointing. After bringing in a favourite silk dress for cleaning ahead of attending a wedding the following week, I collected the item to find patchy colour fading and ink runs. Nobody mentioned this or apologised on collection and on bringing the dress back in the blame was placed on me. I was questioned as to whether the dress was already like this, they demanded photographic evidence of the item prior to cleaning and made me feel like a fraud, as though I was trying to cheat them out of money. There was little in the way of an apology, just excuses, and no offer of any compensation or even a refund for the cleaning until I specifically asked for this. Extremely disappointing, I will not be coming back and would advise anyone getting items cleaned here to take detailed photographs beforehand.
