While doing some minor remodeling on my home, we ran into a wiring problem. It was kind of an emergency, so on short notice Smiley Electric came out to troubleshoot and restore power. Josh did such a good job that I later had him change out my old electrical outlets. I recommend.
I needed to have an additional line from my circuit breaker up to one of the rooms in my house. The guys at Smiley Electric came out and gave me a couple of options, both of were very reasonably priced. They were very friendly and they did exactly what I needed to have done. I absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking to have electrical work done. They will be my go to for future electrical needs.
They attended to us quickly and gave us an appointment that same day. We paid $300 for them to come and look at the job; they originally said it would cover one hour of work. The technician saw us the first time for five minutes. During that visit, he assured us we would receive a $200 credit, but when we received the quote, they didn't give us that discount. I had to "remind" them of what they had promised. When I spoke with the woman, she was short and very rude, as if they were doing us a favor. We decided to proceed just because we need it to fix our electrical problem and schedule the appointment for the work, which they eventually canceled without any reason. When I called to see if we could cancel part of the work since we urgently needed to have only one of the things done, the woman was extremely rude. I wanted to cancel everything, but it seemed I wouldn't get any of the money we had paid upfront to reserve the job back. I got upset, and that's the only way they reacted. They came to my house that same day, and everything was fine. We checked out with another electrician and this job cost the double. The technicians were excellent, but the price and customer service were terrible.
My smoke detectors were beeping. I am very glad they could provide replacement within same day. It's more expensive than I expected but considering one of the detector is at ~18ft tall ceiling I think it's still worth it. Hope the new detectors could last many years!
Smiley was able to get us on their schedule for the next business day. Competent, professional and friendly people who did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They will be my go-to electrician from now on!
