Outstanding Smudge Nail Bar!! On every level does this salon deliver: professionalism, exceptional nail care knowledge, a warm and inviting staff amidst a lovely salon ambience. This is a welcoming nail salon experience unlike any I've ever encountered. Fact is, I had stopped patronizing nail shops. But with finding Smudge Nail Bar... I'm back and confident knowing I am spending my dollars where both my business and my personhood are appreciated and respected. Superb job Smudge!!
Today was my first time going to Smudge Nail Bar and I had such a great experience. Gracie did a fantastic job on my pedicure, and they have beautiful options for the gel colors. The atmosphere is peaceful, full of gorgeous plants, good vibes, and I really liked the music. Notably, it was surprising and so refreshing to walk into a nail salon and not be hit with the smell of the fumes. You can't smell any chemicals at all. I also appreciated the price transparency, which I've struggled with at other salons before. The quality of the service and atmosphere was stellar and I will definitely be going back. Never seen someplace like it. The owner, Roberta, is a lovely woman who has created something really special here!
I’m not a “nails girly” but finally became tired of my bitten down wrecks. I was nervous about walking into one of those “other shops”. I messaged Smudge with a pic of my nails, unsure of what service to book. They recommend hard gel and I booked an appointment. The place was welcoming and Sho was a skilled nail tech who built me up some very natural looking short nails! No more wrecks- I feel great. I will be back. Maybe I’ll even become a “nails girly” now that I’ve found this shop.

Smudge is my new favorite nail salon in the Sacramento area!! Every employee is incredibly gifted and kind-hearted, helping create an easy-going and welcoming environment. Every detail of this salon is planned with precise detail, and it makes for a seamless pampering experience. Additionally, this is the only salon around that offers health-conscious options. I don’t have to be worried about what ingredients are in my polish or the other service products. They also offer halal and waterless options. If you’re looking for a new salon that provides the highest quality care and is welcoming to all, Smudge is the place for you!
