The women here are amazing at what they do, they’re so kind and offer helpful advice for nail care in your day to day on top of the masterful service. I saw Victoria for a gel overlay and she did a beautiful job and made me feel so welcomed. Lovely conversation.
RUN to this nail salon! I'm in town for work from DC and urgently needed my nails done. They accommodated my last-minute appointment. I was graced to have my nails done by Mel but I also saw Victoria (hi, 49!) do a great job on one of my colleagues. Mel changed out my regular polish for a lovely gel manicure, gave me advice on removal that won't ruin my nails and finished off with lovely oil to protect my nail beds. She was very nice, super professional. The salon was really clean and an overall lovely experience. I'm definitely coming back on my next trip to STL!
This nail salon is absolutely esthetically gorgeous and the workers are very nice and friendly. My nail tech was helpful and patient with some questions that I had. They were hygienic, as well. The fact that it is a black owned business was the cherry on top! I look forward to going back soon! Enjoy!
I’ve had about five manicures with nail tech Q. I alway enjoy my appointments and look forward to coming in as Q has a big and kind personality. She always makes my nails look lovely, I was nervous this time as my anxiety disorder means I bite my nails as a habit. I should’ve taken a before photo bc my nails were in rough shape, but Q made them beautiful (she even pivoted when she did one nail and realized it wasn’t coming out to her standards). I will be back!
Beautiful, Black owned establishment. The staff is friendly. The space is top notch. My manicure, unfortunately, was not the best. It wasn’t the manicurist. But, I’m not sure if it was the nail polish or the drying aids but the polish started to separate. I’m not pleased after spending $40+! Im used to having the nail color done to the cuticle as well. I’m not mad about it but not happy either. But, if I pass through The Lou again, I’d give them another try.
