Soul pilates at Queens square provides excellent mixed equipment pilates in a very friendly, intimate, city centre studio. Highly reccomend.
Great opportunity for equipment Pilates in a recently refurbished city centre studio. There is a maximum of 7 in the studio so the classes are intimate and the level of instruction excellent.
I love this location near the harbour. It's a small studio in a Georgian building which I prefer to any gym as there's a personal touch. I started one to ones with Katy Lee Denny and now have started group sessions too. She let's you move at your own pace but can read if you need a little tlc or a massive push to try something challenging. I definitely feel stronger, have better balance and more confidence. Soul Pilates are easy to contact and the app is useful. I would highly recommend (I was extremely nervous as I was a complete novice)
I've been attending Soul Pilates classes for nearly 5 years since the birth of my last child. I love the balance in the types of classes I attend. Some to focus on realigning my body and focusing on fixing some serious changes due to motherhood and other injuries. Over time, the more challenging classes have truly strengthened my body and help me accomplish physical goals outside of pilates.
I often get bored in other exercise classes, as I enjoy a healthy amount of variety in movement and muscle targeting and don't love typical gym workouts. Additionally, I've been recovering from low back pain and general aches from desk work. Soul Pilates has been a great addition to my routine, especially with the recent addition of new classes! With the different bits of equipment and expert guidance from teachers, I can confidently build deep strength in commonly forgotten muscles and enjoy pain-free movement. Teachers also helpfully offer adjustments or different movements to accommodate whatever issues you are struggling with. The monthly memberships and deals are reasonably priced, and the team are very helpful in guiding members to the right fit and option to suit their needs. I would highly recommend Soul Pilates to anyone!
