Mark Bookhagen is one of the most competent people I've ever met. He is without question the person you should hire to buy or sell a home in the Buffalo area -- especially in South Buffalo and the Southtowns where his local knowledge is unmatched. Mark went above and beyond to lead a successful sale of our family home in October 2025. Ours was a challenging fact pattern due, in part, to a sudden illness, and Mark was able to skillfully lead us to a successful sale despite the fact that we lived out of state and were unexpectedly tending to an ailing relative. The decency and competency shown by Mark to our family will not be forgotten.
I highly recommend South Buffalo Realty. Mark was fantastic to work with and a great resource for us as first-time home buyers. He spent a lot of time explaining the process to us and answering our questions as they arose. He has expert knowledge of the South Buffalo and surrounding areas and lots of experience in buying/selling homes. It shows. My family even had a unique set of circumstances and needs, and these changed midway through our searching process (which took over a year). Mark stuck with us the whole way! Wow! He has a calm demeanor and never rushed us, clearly demonstrating that his main priority was us . . . that we got the best property to fit our unique needs. And we did! Three months later, we couldn't be happier. When we need to move again in the future, I will not hesitate to call Mark and South Buffalo Realty.
