Food: Happy with my food choices both times. Coffee: 3.5 stars. Very good. Darker roast than I prefer. Service: 3 stars. Employee slouched and leaned on counter while taking people's order. It gave the wrong impression of about everything about the place. There were 3 persons behind the counter. 2 were working at the coffee machine side by side. All turned away from the counter. I stood there and waited.
Gabby took our order and Jason delivered the goodness for a light and lovely brunch. From coffee to beer to thc drinks and wine Southern Grounds is a cut above. Thank you for your service!
Nice, chill vibe with good food. Shared the breakfast burrito, which was delicious, but what was even more amazing were the pancakes! I don't even remember having pancakes like this before! They were moist, fluffy and buttery goodness! That was my favorite part! Try the pancakes if you stop by SoGro!
Beautiful spot. I love the garage looking thing wide open, makes the space look so spacious. So many seats to choose from. The art work is immaculate. Very large drink menu. I loved it.
Wow!! I had a wonderful experience going to Southern Grounds, it was my first time and from the moment I walked in, everyone was so friendly, and I love the warm welcome… The aesthetics and motif of this coffee shop is unmatched, it’s so spacious and I love all of the decor and it’s an eclectic, artsy theme and it feels cozy with inviting vibes where you can sit and work on your computer or you can just enjoy a delicious beverage and hang out with a friend and take in the heart of the downtown district, I ordered a brown sugar iced Matcha and it was absolutely phenomenal, I love ceremonial grade Matcha, and it wasn’t overly sweet, it was a hybrid of an Organic taste with the sweetness and perfect texture of the brown sugar, and oat milk, it is the best I have ever had in St. Petersburg! I can’t wait to come back and try the coffee, pastries, and so much more, I highly recommend everyone to visit and it will be an unforgettable experience and you will love it!!! 😍🍵☕️
