Words cannot describe how much I appreciate Dr. Cowen and his staff. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Dr. Cowen was very thorough with explaining everything! His assistant Ariel was just as nice and thorough. The ladies who handled the insurance process were thorough and helpful with getting everything processed with my insurance company. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that’s in need of a good dentist.
Dr. Cowen and the team at Southern Oaks are amazing. From being greeted with a smiling face and easy check in to great explanation of the work needed. They are always flexible with scheduling and will work you in for ASAP for an emergency. They work great with kids and even adults who may have dental anxiety. The Southern Oaks Family Dental team truly go above and beyond for you. I will continue to use and highly recommend anyone looking for new or needing dental work to give them a call.
Excellent experience here! Dr. Sandifer is the best dentist! She is kind, intelligent, and thorough! Dental hygienist Kaitlyn is great at explaining everything and was very gentle and friendly. Dental assistant Avery is welcoming and organized. The office is very nice and clean. All of the staff are friendly!

Hygienist Kaitlyn was kind, gentle, and very thorough, taking the time to explain everything and making me feel completely comfortable. Dental assistant Avery was just as wonderful—friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout the visit. The dentist was also great, very knowledgeable and reassuring, and made the appointment feel easy and stress-free. The office is clean, modern, and runs smoothly. I truly felt cared for and highly recommend Southern Oaks!
