Captain Rick answered our phone call (no response thru email) and gave us details about the tour and the best time to see alligators. He texted us the address and directions to the boat landing. Rick has a KEEN EYE for spotting wildlife: alligators, iguanas, turtles, fish, and birds. He uses headphones with radios so you can hear his commentary, wildlife info, and humorous stories. He was respectful of wildlife: keeping some distance from them and using slow approaches to allow for photos. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour!
Captain Rick was exceptional. His knowledge of the river and local wildlife is unmatched, and he shared insightful information throughout the tour about alligator behavior and habitat. He expertly pointed out several large gators, as well as a group of wild boars and multiple iguanas high in the trees. An informative and memorable experience from start to finish. if 10 stars were an option, I would gladly give them.
We had a wonderful experience. Rick was a great guide and accommodating. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something to do! We went on a cloudy day and still seen wildlife. One alligator we caught eating a turtle as seen in pics.
We had an amazing time on our airboat ride in Fort Pierce! Rick was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the ride so much fun from start to finish. His grandson Riley was equally awesome and really added to the experience with his great attitude and enthusiasm. We got to see and learn all about the wildlife of gators, iguanas and pigs along the way, but it never felt rushed or scripted—just a genuinely great time with personable and great people. Our PRIVATE tour couldn’t have been any more perfect for me and my husband. If you’re in the area and looking for a fun, memorable experience, I can’t recommend Rick and Riley enough! Ps. We tried to book last year, but it rained the whole day and still wanted to do it, but Rick called us and told us to rebook a different day because we wouldn’t see anything. He makes sure his work will satisfy his customers! IMPORTANT.
We had a great airboat tour experience with Captain Rick. He was very knowledgeable about the waterways, gators and other wildlife. We were able to see gators, a giant iguana, turtles, and just the St. Lucie river was beautiful!!! It was a fun ride, and liked that this tour had headsets that you can hear Captain Rick and speak to him and ask questions. We had a great time! We look forward to another tour when our family comes in town!
