This place is first class. We booked the XL room for 4 hours for a 4 piece rock band. It’s plenty of room. Here are the highlights: - great sound! All the equipment is high end and works perfect. - they have accessories like cables and pedals if you need them. And they don’t up charge you. - the owner is super nice and he will dial in your monitors and everything. He does a great job. He also bends over backwards to accommodate your requests. He runs the business how you wish businesses were run. - it’s secure. There is a door lock and door code. No weirdos around there and the other musicians are respectful. - the entire place is clean and inviting. No complaints. This place is a good choice.
The guys and I absolutely love rehearsing at Square Wave. The owner is knowledgeable, attentive, and runs an incredible space. The entire experience is so much better than any of the other studios around Dallas that I’ve played at.
The facilities at Square Wave are the best rehearsal rooms I've ever seen in my life! And I've been a Dallas Musician over 50 years. No BS! The equipment is top of the line. The PA gear is second to none. Super quality microphones, mixers, stands, cables, everything. All the gear is first rate: guitar amplifiers, bass amplifiers, monitors, and the Pearl drums are killer. You even get a nice double bass pedal! Cymbals are Zildjians, too. I'm recommending Square Wave to all my musician friends, and YOU too! Get on over there and check out the super clean rooms, damping on all the walls, and the furniture is like brand new. The whole place is super clean and First Rate. Way beyond and FAR ABOVE the ratty, smelly, dirty rehearsal rooms you've been in before. Yuck! Guys, you can bring your girlfriend or your wife along and they will love the place. Clean restrooms, too. Cold AC, carpet everywhere, great sound isolation from the other rooms, it just doesn't get any better. The engineers are at your service and they will take care of your needs, whether it's PA board settings, lights, or gear needs. They're the friendliest, simply the BEST in Dallas! No attitude, no snobby BS, just great service for musicians who want to ROCK! How about the rates, you ask? Well, surprise! The fees are reasonable. Way less than what you'd expect for the superb QUALITY! Thanks, Square Wave, for being the Greatest of All Time! Wow! 🫡
Love, love, love this place! I can go on and on! First of all Bart the owner was professional, courteous, down to earth, and humble. I showed up a little early and he was all so helpful and showed me around the building. Totally love his set up, and the vibe is outstanding! My partner, Haiqeem and I will be back soon for sure, to record our next songs, two originals and one cover. Today we rented one of his rehearsal rooms to go over our upcoming material. I brought a lot of our own equipment, but the room that Bart supplied, had EVERYTHING we needed, (will be packing a little lighter next time). I highly recommend Square Wave Live, we felt right at home. I have been looking for a place like this forever, definitely a gem!
Bart is an amazing owner! The rooms were clean and spacious with great gear! We came from out of town and “Square Wave Live” was the only spot available for a same day schedule! I can’t say enough good things, hands down the best in the Dallas/ Garland area!
