Standard Heating and Air Conditioning are so very professional. Matt, the technician, sent to do a yearly check on my furnace was the best technician I've ever experienced and Ive had a lot of furnaces cleaned in different homes over the years. I am so glad a neighbor recommended this company and I am now a loyal customer. Thank you for your wonderful work.
Jack was a new technician on our account this month. I asked to watch & have him explain each step of the qtrly maintenance procedure. He was terrific! He has an excellent grasp of the technical features and the operational knowledge important to a residential customer. He handled my questions with patience and professional competence. I am totally confident our maintenance service is in good hands.
I contacted Standard Heating & Air Conditioning on November 7th. My brother-in-law referred me because he had Standard Heating install his furnace about 5 years ago. My brother-in-law was a project manager at Johnson Controls, and is quite knowledgeable with heating, air conditioning, and controls. I was told I would have to wait a couple of weeks for their sales rep. In the meantime, I did get several other estimates. On November 21st, Nate Stoll came to my home. I was total impressed with his knowledge, and giving me options, including a heat pump, which none of the other companies even mentioned. He also was aware of the many rebates and tax incentives, and it ended up that a heat pump along with a new 98% energy efficient furnace would be less expensive. By the way, Nate even wore shoe covers so he did not track mud and dirt down my carpeted stairs. I gave Standard the go ahead the day Nate visited us. My installation took place on December 16th, the crew was right on time, and it took them only one day. The crew consisted of Corey, Sean, and Matt. All three knew their stuff, were friendly, wore shoe protection all of the time, and cleaned up after my project. Sean took a lot of time explaining the new system to me. I highly recommend Standard Heating, along with Nate, their sales rep, and Corey, Sean, and Matt, their installers. We could not be more happy. Thank you.
I like to hover and interact with the technicians as I always pick up useful information during the visit. Jack was great and fully deserves a 5-star rating. Today my query involved duct cleaning. (Which is not a service they offer.) He gave advice and a path forward. He also shared before and after pictures from the work done on his home. Totally a reminder on the importance of doing it. Great guy; great visit.
Everything about this experience has been great from start to finish. My initial contact was Peter. He was thorough, polite and able to walk me through all of my options for both my new furnace and water heater. He even got me my quotes on the Friday after Thanksgiving! Josh came today to install the furnace. Along with him were John the gas guy and Al the electrician. They were all thoughtful, kinda, CLEAN and thorough during the install. I knew what was happening every step of the way. Even the customer service folks I had contact with were fantastic! Not only am I supporting a long established family owned Minnesota business, but they were amazingly priced, personable and timely! I highly recommend the Standard Heating and Air Conditioning crew!!
