Stella was very experienced and knowledgeable. I’m super happy with my facial and lash lift/tint. The experience was cozy and it seems like Stella has pride in her work. Glad to find this place!
I tried microblading for the first time at Stella Kim Artistry and am absolutely thrilled with the results! For those unfamiliar, microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure that enhances your eyebrows. I had trouble deciding between microblading vs ombre and Stella was so helpful explaining the differences and recommending the microblading (looks more like natural hair vs ombre which looks more like makeup). I really love how full and naturally shaped my brows look now and it'll last for around two years! The entire process took less than an hour and was completely painless thanks to the numbing cream. I then returned a month later for a touch-up session to ensure perfect results - she let me know that it would look dark at first then after two weeks naturally fade, which they did. Stella herself is a true artist - incredibly professional, meticulous, and dedicated to making sure you achieve the look you want.
I love my brows!💕 I came in with what I thought would be a little difficult to work with. I had my brows microbladed before 2 yrs ago in Manhattan and hadn't touched it up since; so it needed to be pretty much completely redone with some residual pigment. I trusted Stella to choose what would compliment me specifically and she did an amazing job! She is the brow whisperer🤩 She worked with what I had done previously and blended the shape and color which suit me perfectly! She suggested the application technique (powder brow) that would work best for me and was super informative, knowledgable and patient answering all of my questions. My old brows were more arched but I wanted to change to a straighter brow and I'm super happy with how they turned out. Naturally my brows are not symmetrical and Stella corrected that for me and it's really improved the overall look of my face😊 Really glad I went to Stella. She's an expert! Booking and communication with Stella is always super easy and if you're curious about her other services she is great with personalized suggestions during the consultation! The spa is small but very clean, well lit, inviting, relaxing and cozy. Ambience and hospitality are really important to me and I always feel nurtured and taken are of when I come in for treatments. As a person that frequents spas this is a great one! I would highly recommend.
Whenever I come to San Francisco to visit family, Stella is the only one I trust with my face. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her work and every time I go in, she makes sure to take her time and is extremely personable. She recently opened up her personal shop in a medical building, where there is safe and ample parking. When my lips need a fill & shaping, Stella makes sure to follow through with minimal pain and nonexistent bruising. She knows exactly what I want with little explanation on my end and she knows exactly how to achieve the look I want. Stella has an extremely light and gentle touch to the point where sometimes I forget that I'm getting my lips done. This time around, I told her that I wanted to have a pouter top lip without overfilling with lip blushing and the results were subtle and I absolutely love it! I also have extremely short and sparse lashes but Stella never fails to make my nonexistent lashes look absolutely full and amazing. She is extremely quick (my appointment takes less than an hour whereas other places take anywhere from 2-3 hours). She also knows which lash length will compliment my eyes the most. My favorite is getting hybrid lashes from her, which give me the volume of volume lashes without my eyes feeling extremely heavy and tired. I always end up going back to Stella and am always in love with the results and I know everyone else who goes to her will too!
LOVE!!! Stella was so amazing and accommodating to my needs for my wedding. Quality of work was terrific and everything went so smoothly. She even gave me tons of tips prior to the wedding to on how to take care of my skin. She came up with ideas for my hair that I couldn't even think of, and it was so perfect. Stella is super easy going and receptive of ideas of what my bridesmaids wanted. We even finished before the timeline she made; so I could get to my wedding on time. I highly recommend having her do hair and makeup for any event!
