Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill was a great experience. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked! tender, juicy, and well seasoned! and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful. The crab cake appetizer was excellent with a crispy crust and plenty of crab, not filler. Nice upscale atmosphere, attentive service, and well presented dishes. Solid choice for a date night or special occasion.
A restaurant experience begins and ends with service. Every single employee we encountered was friendly, helpful, and appreciative of our business, and unlike many restaurants they all were eager to resolve any questions or requests we had themselves even if it wasn't necessarily their job. It made for such a refreshing and enjoyable meal. The steaks (filet & strip) were well-seasoned, correct temp, and perfectly seared. Ciani provided truly exceptional service throughout the meal and would make a great trainer, and Marly at the bar was helpful and kind when my husband changed his mind. My only notes are more about personal preference: I prefer a buttery flavor with less herb infusion for the filet, and the French onion soup had a bit too strong of a sweet note for me. The herbs detracted from the perfect cook and seasoning on the steak a bit. I noticed and appreciated the ratio of onions to broth. Thank you for a great evening!
The service and the food were amazing! Our server was Mia and she was awesome. Everything was extremely flavorful, and the portions were generous. The cake was great however it is served cold. I took it home mostly because we were stuffed but when we warmed it up it was a million times better. I would definitely go back. I also strongly suggest making a reservation as well.
This was a nice steakhouse. I went on a date with my husband and we were seated immediately at our reservation time. I served Anna was wonderful. She was attentive but not overbearing. I ordered a shrimp and crabmeat pasta in a red pepper sauce. My husband had the bone in ribeye and for apps we had the cheesesteak and a caeser salad. The food was lovely. The steak was cooked well and the shrimp tasted very fresh. I would recommend and we will be back.
Great experience great food great service. Went at 2:30 on Saturday for my mother's birthday. She had the peppered filet mignon which was very good but a little sweet for my taste. I had The prime rib with potatoes au gratin both of which were cooked perfectly and amazing. Also had their lobster bisque another truly amazing dish. Caesar salad made with real anchovies. The pecan encrusted trout was very good as well. If I ever go back and will always be the prime rib. Also got the carrot cake which was huge enough for 3 people and their key lime pie was on point. Nothing bad to say about the food at all the service also was truly amazing water glass was never less than half empty. Little pricey but worth it when you're getting this quality of food. We will be back just not often because the price lol.
