Found Sugar Plum on ClassPass and decided to give them a try since they’re highly rated and closer to me than Cap Hill sugaring places eg SugaringNYC. I got lost so was 10 mins late to my appointment, but my Sugaring Tech (Alycia — book her she’s amazing!!) took me in and did her magic. She was actually going to reschedule me, but since I’ve done sugaring before and wanted to be in and out, I said I was ok with not having my full allotted service time (there’s buffer time so the process can be explained to you and it’s not a rushed service). But even so we still had plenty of time left to spare, Alycia really took the time to make sure she got all the hairs, and I felt absolutely cared for! Will be coming back to Sugar Plum!! (they’re also super clean and have affordable packages!)
It was my first time getting sugaring, and Alison made it a great experience. She’s friendly, patient, and kept me comfortably distracted with her easy conversation. Highly recommend Alison!
Elissa is amazing!!! First time trying sugaring & got the Brazilian. My service with Elissa was professional, efficient & she made me feel super comfortable walking through the steps as she went along as a 1st timer. I just tried SugarPlum with Kayla and had an amazing experience. She’s professional, sweet and was quick. I really appreciated how she was chatting me up to help distract my mind while she went to work- it really helped minimize the pain on those spicy spots. I’ve had sugaring before but was still really impressed by her quickness and effectiveness. I already booked to return in 6 weeks- thanks Kayla!
I had such a great experience with Kayla at SugarPlum! She made my Brazilian wax quick, comfortable, and surprisingly painless. Her professionalism and friendly personality put me at ease right away, and she explained everything step by step which really helped.
