I picked this studio via a Google search and looking at customer reviews. I wasn't disappointed with my choice. Joey on reception was very welcoming and the actual premises were very clean and easy on the eye. He explained how the process worked and let me look at ideas from the bountiful magazines on the coffee table. This wasn't my first tattoo, but it has been several years since I took the plunge to get another.
Fabulous experience with Sugar Skull, Glasgow. From my husband purchasing a gift voucher with Adrian to my consultation with Joey and on to the big day with Sam. This was my first tattoo but has been years in the thought process and I wanted something individual but artistically-led. I took (8!) very different images - with different pieces I liked - to a very patient Joey who helped me realise the best artist for the job. Today, I turned up and Sam presented me with his vision. I loved it! With some resizing (bigger 😀) and repositioning we agreed an awesome design! Sam is very gentle and clearly experienced in detailed, realistic art. The studio is pristine but feels homely and relaxing. We got the music going and me, my book 😆 Lots of short breaks and six hours later - we’re 60% there! I’m loving my tattoo and already feel like she’s part of me. A cathartic exercise of getting many years experience - good/ learning/ bad on my leg so she - my Phoenix - is there but doesn’t have to be in my head. I’m forever grateful to the whole team, Sam especially. She will be completed with shading and back wing in round 2 🥰
I would highly recommend Sugar Skull Tattoo studio. From communication with Adrian and consultation with Joey to getting our tattoos was second to none. My wife and I went together to get our tattoos, mine was my first, and everything went to plan. Our tattoo artist was Hernany and he knew exactly what we wanted. So pleased with both tattoos. We are booked in again, highly recommend. Update 2nd visit to Hernany at Sugar Skull for my wife and I. Once again a fantastic experience my wife got a rose she had reworked and I got a new tattoo on opposite arm from 1st. Hernany is a genius artist and we are so happy with finished result.
At this time I am so pleased to have found yourselves and Johnny. The finished tattoo is amazing and is a testament to Johnny himself on his professional approach. He was great to talk to and was meticulous in his work. I hope to be back at some point for more work and Johnny will be my first choice, if applicable. I will definitely recommend you guys to anyone that asks about my tattoo. Thanks again for the great work and the communication with Adrian (Manager), through the whole process.
I would highly recommend Sugar Skull Tattoo Studio in Glasgow 10/10. My youngest daughter Fi wanted us to have joint tattoo's for her 30th Birthday. At 63, I had never had a tattoo, because the situation had never arisen and partly out of a nervousness over needles. I did my reviews of tattoo studios, local(Lanark), Glasgow and Edinburgh. Sugar Skull had great reviews on all platforms. Contacted Sugar Skull, and from the start Adrian was very understanding, polite and very professional. Jorge was identified as the most suitable artist- detailed line work in black. Our experience was first class, from a consultation with Joey, the studio manager. He talked us through the design and size. Jorge was a very competent artist, who gave us all his concentration and experience. A very decent guy, who put me at ease. We are both delighted with the art work and intend to ask Jorge to do another three tattoos - one for my Wife Elaine and another for Fi and me. Could not recommend the studio any higher - I would not hesitate to recommend any newbies or seasoned people to use Sugar Skull. Bill and Fi Nicol
