From the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out, my experience was absolutely amazing. Kim and Amanda at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and so helpful—they immediately set the tone for a relaxing visit. Drew, who did my massage, was absolutely fantastic. Professional, attentive, and truly skilled—he made sure I was comfortable the entire time and tailored the massage perfectly to my needs. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and so much better than when I arrived. The entire environment was calming and well-organized, and the level of care from start to finish really stood out. I would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be back. Five stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kim H is amazing! I’d highly recommend her services. She always provides education to my questions and gives the best treatment. PLUS she is the kindest and most genuine person. I will always come back to Sunlighten for her!
This was a great place for spa Day with friends. My only concern was checking out. The receipts were wrong. I gave cash for a tip and the difference was applied to my bill instead of being returned to me.
My massage therapist was nice, but did not give a very deep tissue massage and seemed to be scattered. At the end, the front desk lady with a bun was rude, could not get her card reader to work and said your card isn't working. I had to inform her that maybe she try typing in the numbers. Voila! It worked!
#1- bribing clients for a 5 star review is not cool. This means no one can trust any 5 star review. #2- I’ve never had a less welcoming welcome. They actually discussed in front of me on who was going to “handle” me. Also had a young child at the front desk who was also wandering around the spa on her tablet. She was a good kid, but not a very professional/relaxing environment. Probably should have had her in the office. #3- Lackluster massage and she had a very weird draping method I’ve never seen any other massage therapist use. She was also late because she got her dates mixed up and was very flustered. She then spent an hour “petting” me after asking me what firmness I wanted. I asked for medium to deep pressure. My neck tightness is still there. #4- Detox body wrap was nice as was the esthetician. I do recommend. #5- Snack was decent but she only gave me 10 mins to eat it- and actually said that. Felt like I had to wolf it down or waste it. #6- Sauna was nice. I needed a little bit more explanation on what you do having never used a private infrared sauna but it was clean and felt good. #7- I was made to say the tip amount out loud in front of staff and another guest and was not able to even see the total until after she ran my card. I always tip well because I received a service and the tip goes to the person, but the spa needs to change the checkout process asap. Cringe! All in all it was a subpar experience and I will not be back. (Check out Spa on Penn; it was 1000x better).
