I had stopped by to pick up some cake yesterday and a lovely associated named Renee helped me with my order. I mentioned that the last time I had picked up some marble cake, the bottom part of the cake was dry and she thanked me for my feedback, so she could take it back to the baker. She then proceeded to not charge me for the couple of slices of cake - if this is not top notch customer service, I don't know what else is !! All they wanted was to have the customer be satisfied and happy with their products. Lifetime customer here thanks to Renee !
When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff. The place was clean and organized. I got a snickerdoodle which was soft and yummy! The rest was not so great. The vanilla cupcake with strawberry icing: cupcake was dry and the icing was way too sweet but to their credit it did taste like strawberry. The vanilla cupcake with the pink icing for breast cancer was dry and flavorless. The chocolate cupcake was also dry, it had peanut butter icing with chocolate sprinkles but it did taste like peanut butter. I also got a slice of banana nut with chocolate chip cake. I likedcthe cake part, but didn't like the icing. If I go back it will be for the snickerdoodles. They were literally the best ones I've ever had.
This order was really special to me as it was for my partner, and even though I couldn’t be there with him, SusieCakes was! 💕 They helped me make this surprise come true, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Big thanks to everyone who was part of it !!! From the amazing team who communicated with me through email so patiently and with such dedication, to the talented people who turned my idea into a piece of art. I went in the other night and fell absolutely in love with the selection of baked goods. The customer service was excellent! I ended up ordering ome of almost everything. I have to say: The one that most impressed me was the red velvet cupcake. It is soooo hard to find red velvet done right. And they did it! Fluffy, excellent flavor and just the right amount of sweetness to the icing. Their regular icing is butter based, as opposed to shortening like many other bakeries. I was very impressed! I also loved the peanut butter sandwich cookie. My daughter added banana to her's at home and it was AMAZING! I loved this bakery and will be back! Well done!
Let me start off by saying the Cake was beautiful, the cake was delicious, and the cake was ready right on time. I did not receive the name of the lady that assisted me because of the Valentine’s Day madness. But she handled me like she owned the place! With great care and got me in and out! It’s not just Valentine’s Day for me, it’s my wife’s birthday, so convenience amongst a day full of chaos is very much appreciated. My wife loved the cake and says all of her friends adore it! I love the vintage valentines myself; my wife has requested it again for next year. Thank you suziecakes for making this years birthday cake unforgettable! —**** UPDATE ****— Today I just came in for my birthday, and I was delighted to have received a free peice of cake, aswell as happy birthday wishes from the staff. Since I posted the original review for my wife’s birthday, I have been back 3-4 times; I’m always greeted with a lovely smile from the staff and pure positivity. I cannot express enough how much I have fallen in love with this company; no other bakery will be getting my money!
