Rachel of Sweet Charli Girl makes the best tasting baked goods. You will never know that they are gluten free (100% celiac safe). It is hard to find anyone doing better baked goods for weddings or just a box of sweet treats.
Sweet Charli Girl has THE best gluten free desserts that don't even taste GF! I have been a huge fan of the peanut butter bars that are sold at my local neighborhood coffee shop- Violet Crown. I recently decided to order the vintage heart shaped cake as an additional wedding cake for the after party celebration and it was not only so pretty but sooo delicious!! We even saved a slice to freeze for the anniversary. Can't wait to order more goodies for Thanksgiving!
I shed a tear when I had Sweet Charli Girl's cinnamon roll. It was that good. My Dr recommended 10 years ago that I got wheat free due to various auto immune markers and gluten free baked goods are hit or mis. Often times you get something similar but not quite that joyful experience of a great baked good. Sweet Charli Girl knocks it out of the ball park and makes gluten free baked good delicious again. Also as someone who has to watch fodmaps most of her foods are low oats and other troublesome ingredients. I really cannot express how happy her baking has made me. It's not just great gluten free -- it's just great!
Sweet Charli Girl did my wedding cake, along with cinnamon rolls for our late night snack and vegan cupcakes. All of it was amazing! I had so many gluten-eating guests tell me how good the desserts were and how they couldn’t tell it was all gluten free (which is always so good to hear as a celiac). Rachel was so easy to work with, too. She took my cake inspo photos and created my dream wedding cake. My husband, a cinnamon roll mega fan, said they were the best GF cinnamon rolls he’s ever tried, and I completely agree. I would highly recommend Sweet Charli!
My mom flew into town to visit me over her birthday. My mom has celiac - I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find a gluten free cake in Austin! Luckily, I found Rachel’s bakery and she was so kind to accommodate my last minute order. The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated. I can’t remember the last time I was able to celebrate my mom’s birthday with her since moving away, so THANK YOU for making our birthday celebration complete with a cake.
