Our Sydney Wine Centre Australia Wines tasting event was one of our most memorable experiences. The selection of wines was well-curated, with an entertaining story and history of each. The session kicked off with wine-tasting tips and basics, and set the tone that this would be a fun, interactive and educational session. Jim kept the entire group engaged and entertained, and generously answered our questions along the way. The food pairings were also excellent, from prawn toast to a delicious lamp chop. I highly recommend this for a group event as well as a fun evening out with a friend or partner.
Just had a great day at the wine appreciation course. The team was knowledgeable and presented a great day. Not sure if I will change my wine preferences but it it always great to learn more about the wines I like (and don’t). Will be back and suggest if you love wine and wish to expand your knowledge you do this course.
I went to one of Sydney Wine Centre's French wine and cheese pairing classes and had the best time! Jim is incredibly knowledgable, warm and charismatic. As a novice I felt I came away with a better understanding of how to taste wine. The cheeses from Simon Johnson were delicious, and in very generous serving sizes too. A great experience, highly recommend!
Fantastic evening...tasted beautiful Italian wines whilst getting to know the origins of the wine and the regions. Jim has the ability to pass on his knowledge in a friendly and fun manner. The accompanying food was as good as the wines. Highly recommend the experience. I am looking forward to attending another wine tasting evening soon.
Me regalaron entradas para una cata en el Sydney Wine Centre. Fui a una Discover Spanish Wine Tasting sin saber qué esperar, pero pasé un tiempo genial. El personal fue extremadamente amable, hizo que todos se sintieran a gusto y se aseguró de que todos disfrutaran. El presentador fue muy conocedor y respondió a las preguntas de todos y me dio muy buenos consejos sobre lugares para visitar. Pudimos degustar 10 vinos diferentes y la comida que sirvieron fue increíble. Nos advirtieron de que no eran un restaurante y la comida solo tenía la finalidad de mostrar ejemplos de maridaje entre comida y vino, pero tanto la calidad como la cantidad fueron increíbles. Mi nuevo regalo predilecto para todos mis amigos a los que les gusta el vino.
