Came here the next morning after the football game. Been wanting to try it! Definitely a must try if you’re in the city. Very unique menu! Have a wide variety of specialty coffee selections! My husband had the waffles and chicken. The waffle was like none we have ever eaten before. The view is amazing as welll
TOB is awesome. Belgium draft beer selections are outstanding. Cuisine is delightful. Atmosphere is a blend of pub and dining with booths, tables, etc. We’ll be back.
Just went there for a takeaway coffee. My iced pumpkin spice latte was amazing. 9/10 However Hot Chai latte was alright. It wasn’t lukewarm and didn’t really have “chai” taste. 2/10 The service was amazing! 10/10 Good ambience as well.
A good food from Europe. First time trying Belgium food, we ordered “Bolo” “Steak and fries” “Chicken Burger” and “Salmon”everything was delicious! One remark to staff, educate more your waitress about menu, it’s hard to make a decision what to order if you not familiar with Belgium cuisine. PS. The problem is finding the parking in Cincinnati downtown specifically in Saturday night. I parked on the street and paid 5$ for two hours which is not bad.
Jean-François Fletched moved from Belgium to Cincinnati in 2000. He started selling his authentic Liège waffles at Findlay Market in 2007 and was an instant hit. In 2011, Jean-François opened his first Taste of Belgium. Frites and dips are fries served with four different dips. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and lightly salted. My personal favorite of the dips was the curry ketchup and the malt vinegar mayo. I ordered the Classic Bennie, which is served on their waffle, rather than an English Muffin and has grilled ham and arugula. I have recently realized that I really enjoy arugula with breakfast. The bitterness of the arugula and the hollandaise that had a very pronounced lemon flavor, was so delicious. The waffle was very sweet. All together the flavors worked very well, however I would still rather the English Muffin because I want my eggs Benedict to be savory not sweet. Some other dishes that were ordered were savory crepes, granola parfait, Belgium Burger, a mimosa flight 🥰 Knights Reserve and some iced coffees. The building was beautiful and it’s in such a wonderful location. You are literally in between @Cincinnati Bengals and @Cincinnati Reds stadiums.
