I got my first tattoo a week ago and could not be more pleased with the results. It was a father/college-aged-son matching tattoo outing, and Chummy was engaging and thoughtful with both ends of the age spectrum. He is a consummate professional, whose care and attention to hygiene, his clients, and his art are impressive. While I am not sure if I will be getting any more tattoos, if I do, I will be certain to return to Tattoo 13 and look for Chummy.
So I have been happy with all tattoos Chummy has done, except the last tattoo. If you look at that picture and see the red around the demon, expected as it's a fresh tattoo. Well after healing mostly all that red turned into black ink. It looks like over spray, or to much ink. Informed Chummy within a week after removing bandage. Sent him a picture and he agreed it wasn't a SMOOTH finish. So I had canceled a follow up appt. for another tattoo, but was allowing more time to give tattoo time to heal (over a month). So its healed and looks messy and blurry. Payed a decent amount for what looks like an over sprayed Tattoo. Not too HAPPY......ALSO DID FOLLOW UP WITH CHUMMY WITH AN EMAIL AND NO RESPONSE. DONE WITH TATS FOR NOW.......But it's still a great shop with amazing artists. All good things come to an end and I feel CHUMMY LET ME DOWN HERE......🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨.... CHUMMY NEVER EVERED FOLLOWED UP. WILL BE LOOKING FOR A BETTER TATTOOIST TO REPAIR THE MESSED UP TATTOO ON MY BACK. I PAID OVER $500.00. PRETTY MESSED UP. REALLY SURPRISED CHUMMY NEVER FOLLOWED UP AND IS AWAARE AND AGREED TATTOO IS MESSED UP. BUT.....ALL GOOD THINGS EVENTUALLY COME TO A END.
Friend and I showed up an hour before closing as walk ins and Chummy welcomed us without issue. We hadn’t even decided what we wanted to get yet but we weren’t rushed. He took time to get our design/dimensions exactly as we wanted them and gave his helpful input on what would look best, and stayed an hour past closing to finish our tattoos. Overall a great experience with reasonable pricing (the one pictured was $120). Will definitely consider returning if I’m in the area.
I got a tattoo coverup from Chummy. He did several great designs and I chose one. The 4 hour experience was pleasant (although painful) and he was interested to talk to. Clean shop, skilled ((chummy has 20+ years there). Several people walked in without appointments and were seen almost immediately by other staff. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love this shop! Great artists! And if you're a lover of great prices and special days, make sure you check these guys out for Friday the 13th Tattoos. This is one of the few participating stores!!! Both me and my fiance have now had tattoos done here. I have around 3 from this tattoo shop. I have never been disappointed by them. Much love guys!
