Alexis was amazing to work with; she was down to earth and super friendly and made sure that each of her clients were comfortable on their own pace. The piercing I got was something that was super nerve-wracking and something I was very anxious about, but she was very patient and I felt bad for asking so many questions and taking up her time. However she reassured my anxiety and encouraged me to ask questions, and I ended up doing the piercing on my nips. While doing the procedure, she gave encouraging words, and the process was not even that bad, pain-wise, so it was all worth it. And the price was so affordable! And that was including the jewelry! I will sure recommend this shop to my friends!
Excellent job, Mike is the best, explained thoroughly my questions. Excellent artist. Would definitely go to Tattoo Asylum again
This shop is wonderful! Everyone’s very professional from working the desk, emails, and the other artist. I’ve been going to Mike since before they opened this shop. The shop is very clean and organized. Mike is always incredibly nice and professional and always give his personal opinion on size and placement for the longevity of the tattoo. Highly recommend this place
Alexis was very easy to work with. I like the work but for what I got was very over priced. Wasn't expecting to spend $130 including tip. It was to expensive for three words and a purple 💜. Next time I'll make sure I ask for price first uhh! This was not worth $130. When they see this, I hope they offer me something for over charging me. At least let me get half my money back. Update: Went back to the shop and was accommodated and was able to touch up my tat and was satisfied with how they handled the issue. I will highly recommend this business!! Thank you Alexis for being my artist!!
I have had multiple sessions with Mike after learning about him and his studio on Reddit. I was looking for an artist who was experienced in Japanese style and who could rework an existing sleeve, and after driving over an hour away for a consult with him, I knew he was the one to get the job done. My experience at Tattoo Asylum could not have been better. The studio itself is clean, welcoming, and not at all the stereotypical hardcore, intimidating environment we often think of. Chaz (reception) and Alexis (fellow artist and piercer) are both super cool to talk to. Mike is awesome - super knowledgeable and creative, and he makes you feel like you’re just talking to your dad or uncle. His pricing is also very fair considering his experience and the level of skill/work he’s able to do, especially when it comes to cover ups and reworking existing tattoos. I’ve since had to take a break from finishing up my sleeve since I just found out I’m expecting, but I am excited to be back in the chair as soon as I’m able to. In the meantime, I highly recommend Tattoo Asylum for anyone interested in high quality work from some genuine, talented folks. Second photo shows the most recent addition in the process of making it an actual sleeve.
