Overall our Thai massage was good but we did not receive the package we originally booked (60 min massage, 30 min foot reflexology, 15 min scalp massage, 30 min sauna, face mask, eye mask). When we first checked in, I attempted to confirm with the masseuse that we would be doing the package we booked and she said yes. Specifically, there was no foot reflexology whatsoever and barely a scalp massage. Instead, we got almost a 2 hour Thai massage which was a bit excessive. Also, I noticed during the massage there was a third person in the room, quietly sitting on the floor…why she was there, I have no idea but it was definitely unusual, uncomfortable and inappropriate. Additionally, I had to specifically ask for face masks before we left because we never received them. Disappointed that we didn't get what we booked.
Definitely have to come back here Ava and Nina are wonderful and welcoming. My husband and I felt comfortable and had a great time. Must try the couples combo!!!! Thank you thank you A&N
Great couples massage! Eva and Nina are very hospitable and respectful. The place is nice, quiet and relaxing. Great relaxing date spot if that is what you are looking for.
My sister and I came here for Swedish massages this morning. Totally recommend it. It's not the most opulent spa in town, but it's very clean and comfortable, run by two nice Thai ladies who do great work. Tell them how hard or soft you want your massage and they will turn you into a pool of melty butter. The price is a great deal for the service you get, so I recommend splurging on a 2-hour massage if you can. A 1-hour massage is nice, but ends right as you're getting into the zone. I don't live here in SD, just visiting, but I'd come back here a lot if I were a local. ขอบคุณค่ะ, ladies!
My fiance and I had a mixed experience at Thai Diego Massage for our deep tissue couples massage which is why we are rating it 2.5/5 stars. First of all, Tanya, my massage therapist was 20/10 amazing. She is very intuitive, communicates well during the therapy and is a talented and kind massage therapist. If you come here, try to book a massage with her! I couldn't recommend her enough. She checked on pressure, targeted my specified areas, and was very comforting. Had she been the only person we had come in contact with, we would have had no issues with our time here. Unfortunately, my fiance had a terrible experience and had the worst massage of his life here. We are both experienced with receiving massages and have both received Thai style massages are multiple different spas all over the country. My fiance also has multiple family members who are professional massage therapist, so we have some idea of what to expect during this kind of experience. It seems like there is some discrepancy in the quality of massage therapists at this spa. First of all, the massage therapist he had drenched his back in oil that was scented with lemongrass which really irritated his skin. Secondly, the massage therapist rubbed the massage oil under his armpits and caused a lot of skin irritation and burning under the arms. Thirdly, the massage therapist did not do a good quality deep tissue massage and overstretched him, something we did not expect from a place with all 5 star reviews. She also did not target the areas that he had indicated on his preference intake form like his shoulders and forearms. Fourth, the massage therapist did not immediately respond to his concerns of the burning.Tanya, my massage therapist, had to pause my massage to make sure he was okay. After the massage, Tanya and the owner gave us a little discount on the massage and Tanya took great care to treat the burning and redness under my fiance's arms. We greatly appreciated Tanya's care, but this really did ruin what was supposed to be a relaxing experience for us.
