A few days ago I had a Technical come to fix my furnace, he determined that the Control Board needed to be replaced and that it was still under warranty so the part only cost was a warranty processing fee and labor (it takes less than 10minutes to replace). The quote that I received was $1267.49 ($6000-7000/hr minus travel time). The Technician was nice though. Maybe they are reasonable at bigger jobs, but that is crazy.
Our experience with Freddy from The Air Company was excellent. He thoroughly explained the work and provided several recommendations for our issue. He was extremely professional, arrived on time and completed the service promptly. He even closed the garage door for me, which I would have forgotten to do.
Chris and the team at The Air Company serviced both of my HVAC units for many years now. When our upstairs unit finally stopped working, I knew it was time to call Chris to look at a replacement. Chris came out and took the time to inspect the upstairs unit located in the attic and realized it needed to be replaced and also brought up to code with how it is installed. We scheduled the service and the team arrived on time and finished early. It has been a week and we have had no issues and are very happy with the prompt service and also sticking to the quoted price. We will continue to use the Air Company for any future HVAC needs!
