It's hard to say enough about our experience at The Art Shack. Our daughter went looking for guidance for her portfolio and application...and found a whole new identity and approach to her life and studies. Nearly three years on, it's clear to us that the support--and the supportive rigor--of The Art Shack was a pivot point that launched a happy and rewarding high school experience. More than satisfied with the tremendous work and positive encouragement all the team put in for the kids. My daughter had auditions for all the art high schools in Miami and was a little hesitant for her portafolio before going to Art Shack but when the team finished helping her with it; my daughter felt so confident and empowered not only for the artworks she made but for all the preparation for the interviews. Needless to say she nailed all her auditions so much so, that one teacher who was reviewing her portfolio said it was one on the BEST PORTFOLIOS he had seen in a few year. So grateful to have found the Art Shack.
Great place, amazing teachers! My daughter has been attending The Art Shack on Teacher Planning Days for several years now. We are always impressed with the quality of the artwork that she comes home with, but more than anything, we value the teachers and the owner Laura. They truly care about the children and the families. The office person Noemi is GREAT! She is attentive, professional, empathetic and kind. Thank you The Art Shack! :-)
Tuve la gran oportunidad de inscribir a mis dos hijas en The Art Shack. Mi hija mayor tomó las clases de preparación de portafolio durante aproximadamente seis meses. La calidad de la educación, el apoyo y la motivación constante que recibió la ayudaron a ser aceptada en las cuatro mejores escuelas magnet de su elección. Mi hija menor tomó las clases de Robótica durante casi un año. A ella le encantó; la clase estimuló su creatividad y mejoró sus habilidades, trabajando en equipo hacia un objetivo común. La dedicación y el profesionalismo de Laura y Paula son excelentes.
