Stefanie is hands down the best fitness instructor in LA! She is incredibly knowledgable and I have learned so much about proper form and technique from her. I've been going to her classes for years and it never stops being challenging. If you're looking for a safe/low impact workout with an emphasis on form and strengthening muscles, you MUST check it out!
We were having dinner at the Horses, and my daughter was dancing at the courtyard then came across this lovely lady who invited us to the dancing studio. We had fun there and the lady danced with my daughter for 10min. The instructor there was welcoming and friendly too. Just wanted to say thank you here!
I wish that I discovered Barboza sooner! It is so much more than a workout, it opens up a new way of paying closer attention to one's posture, being more agile and feeling appreciation for one's body and its strength. The classes are tailored well for each level and the exercises are challenging but rewarding. You will be amazed at how the smallest movements create such a well-rounded and intense exercise. Stefanie and the other instructors are friendly and helpful and the mood is always fun, especially when fueled by dramatic film scores. You can truly see Stefanie's dedication to her students & studio. The space is pristine and the mirrors on the ceiling help you feel more in tune with your body and more confident in your own rhythm. The class size is kept small to allow for specialized attention and hands on corrections. With countless workouts charging upwards of $35 this class is a steal! I highly recommend Barboza for anyone wanting a unique and transformative experience within their workout.
I LOVE THIS STUDIO! Stephanie Barboza is the most hands on and exciting and excited instructor I have ever worked with. The Method is sensational. Every single muscle in my body was woken up. I felt it for days after. Some muscles I didn't know I even had. I walk connected to my core now and posture perfect due to this method. I love that it's all on the mat looking up at mirrors so you see you're lined up perfectly. It has beginner and advanced. I suggest beginner to start with. Although I took the advanced not knowing that the 1st time, it was hard but I did it! You decide, just GO! You'll thank me. :) Symie
Seguí el Barboza Method durante 2 años y perdí alrededor de 15 libras, obtuve un estómago más plano (por primera vez en años) y logré una postura más erguida.
