I truly cannot recommend The Beauty Consultant (TBC) enough. Anne and Lois made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, completely pampered, celebrated, and so well cared for. From the moment we met, working with them felt like reconnecting with friends I’d known my whole life. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine passion made the entire experience so special. As someone who loves makeup and full glam, I found it surprisingly difficult to find artists who could truly deliver beyond the very soft, natural styles that are everywhere at the moment but TBC advertised having a range of makeup styles available, especially full glam and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. Their skill range is incredible, and they executed my vision flawlessly. They also have all of the high end, top rated products that you dream of using. My hair and makeup looked flawless all day and night and somehow still looked amazing 30 hours later! What stood out just as much as their talent was the environment they created was calm, welcoming, and safe. I felt completely comfortable asking for exactly what I wanted or making changes, and everything was received with such care and professionalism. The communication and planning were seamless and stress-free (even with me organising everything from Australia!), which made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a team that is not only exceptionally talented but also genuinely wonderful people who will make you feel confident, heard, and beautiful then TBC is it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anne and Grace. I got lucky enough to fill in as a “model” for a makeup training day with Anne, where I fell in love with her and her team. I quickly scheduled my official wedding day trial after where I met Grace, who did my hair. From the very beginning, they made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my choices. For a girl who knows nothing about makeup or hair, they were beyond patient with me in not only deciding what to do but offering expert advice that helped bring everything together perfectly. On the wedding day itself, everything went so smoothly and effortlessly. Their calm, friendly presence made the morning stress-free and genuinely enjoyable. Again- Anne & Grace were incredibly patient, especially with touchups (I think Anne had to touch me up 3+ time because of my happy tears) but she did so without a second thought. They also made sure not only me, but my bridesmaids and the moms, looked flawless from start to finish. My bridesmaids all later bought products that were used on their skin that day courtesy of Anne’s recommendations and how happy they were. This speaks volumes. As someone who’s been a bridesmaid, being happy with the brides H&M choices isn’t always the case. Everyone in that room getting ready with us all said there’s never been a more relaxed wedding morning and that’s all thanks to Anne and Grace & their planning. There were many many comments made by my friends and family on how much they enjoyed talking to TBC team. Not only did my hair and makeup last all day and night, but I also felt like the best version of myself. I’m SO grateful for their professionalism, talent, and kindness, and I would highly recommend them to any bride. Thank you both!! XOXO
I am SO happy I went with The Beauty Consultant. Anne did my makeup and Grace did my hair and they were just phenomenal. I received so many compliments all night long and my makeup and hair stayed without any budge - I truly have never looked and felt better. All my bridesmaids, my mom, and MIL all raved about their makeup and hair as well!!! If you’re thinking about booking them, absolutely do it you will not regret it one bit! Also Anne and Grace are amazing at their craft but wow were they so so sweet and enjoyable to talk with throughout the trial and entire process, it made it that much better because of how comfortable and inviting they made it!
Anne and her team were SO amazing to work with. They truly feel like Red Carpet Glam - not like your typical bridesmaids makeup/hair. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Anne and Jane. Anne is so professional and detail-oriented. Her and her team are exactly the kind of people you want surrounding you on your wedding day. Book the beauty consultant now! You won’t regret it!
Incredible service from everyone on the team The Beauty Consultant was incredible. I was looking for a hair/makeup vendor in North Carolina and they were so friendly and accommodating. They took the time to speak with me and understand my needs and vision. Anne, the owner was terrific and my hair/makeup artist for the day Lois was fabulous. She discussed the look with me and was super open to making changes during the trial. All of my bridesmaids loved their looks and felt really heard while explaining their inspiration looks. highly recommend if you have a bridal party with a diverse range of looks and styles. and just in general recommend if you want to love your hair/make-up vendor as much as I did.
