Amazing place!! It’s worth every penny spent. I’ve had the pleasure of having Lana (Sveta) do my nails for the last two years and no one has ever perfected my French tip like her.
A truly wonderful experience from start to finish! From the very first call, Lana was an absolute pleasure to speak with. She took her time explaining everything in detail and made the booking process effortless and welcoming — such a lovely first impression. Asel was the nail artist who worked on me, and she completely exceeded my expectations. She was professional, kind, and incredibly skilled. I brought in an inspiration photo, and the result looked identical — if not even more beautiful. These nails were for my birthday, and Asel went above and beyond to help me select the perfect colors. Her precision, artistry, and attention to detail truly made the experience special. Because I had previously gone somewhere that used a non-organic gel, I needed a DIP/Acrylics/GelX transition to Gel Overlay ($185) plus Nail Design ($20) — and Asel handled the entire process with such care and expertise. The salon itself is stunning — clean, modern, and relaxing — and everyone I met was so kind and attentive. I’ve included photos of my nails (done by Asel) alongside my inspiration picture so you can see just how amazing her work is. If you’re looking for a beautiful space, a professional team, and a nail artist who truly delivers perfection, ask for Asel — she’s phenomenal! 💅✨
I’ve waited to do a review of The Best Nails San Diego for six months. I was completely obsessed from day one, but with other nail places I’ve gone to, I’ve been happy the first time, then the services go downhill from there, my nails decline in health and quality and I leave after a few months. That is NOT the case with The Best Nails San Diego!!!! My nails are stronger and healthier than ever! The excitement I get going in for a fill is because it is top tier EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I’m completely smitten with my nails and my tech, Mira, is a breath of fresh air every time! We have a lovely time together and she always runs with my ideas and takes such good care of me, always helping match my style and uniqueness!!! The salon is clean, comfy, and has the best atmosphere. I have gone as long as 7 weeks for a fill because of the time Mira takes on my cuticles and how they do nails here! It’s incredible!!! The idea of a dry pedicure was something that I never thought I’d like, but I will never go back to a soaking pedicure. My feet have never been softer or held up looking beautiful still a month later! And I am tough on my feet!!! Couldn’t recommend The Best Nails San Diego and Mira more!!! I wish I had been going here all along and they have a life long customer with me!!!
I’ve been getting my nails done with Asel and she is truly amazing! She pays such close attention to detail and makes sure everything looks perfect, but at the same time she works so efficiently and fast. I never feel rushed, yet my nails always come out flawless. Love it!
I’ve been going to Mary at Best Nails SD for over a year now and I truly can’t recommend her enough. She’s so talented, efficient, and always consistent with her work.
