This was my $12.50 Reuben yesterday. Thank goodness I had some sauerkraut in the pantry to make it right. "Pastrami" tasted suspiciously like the SYSCO product. You'd think at these prices you would get real pastrami. For just slightly more money I could get a REAL reuben from Katz Deli in NYC shipped to me.
This place is a hidden gem, been here 40 years in a very small off the path location with hours of 10-3 weekdays only. Its the kind of place you know is good, people are very friendly and its busy. Great food but great food in a busy place takes a little longer than usual. I am ok with that. Philly cheesesteak with jalapeños is my jam.
I tried the Pita Sandwich and it was really good. The customer service was really good also. The eating area was kept clean. And they also have an outside area to eat in the back. This place has been around for 30 years. I definitely would recommend coming here. The Philly cheesesteak is also really good.
First time here, I went in to pick up an order and George was very accommodating for the wait. It seemed to be super busy, which means one thing their food must be really good. I know for a fact you have to try the brownies with the fudge top, it was so good I'm coming back for seconds. You have to come in and try for yourself.
Y'all, I have driven by this place countless times! What a disservice I did myself. The Turkey Avocado Sammy was so good, and the side of potato soup was perfect! Plus dessert?! Yes, this is comfort food all the way and made me think of my childhood. Great food, the folks here are so warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. Y'all stop in and get some good food from some fine folks!! Go local!!
