Reliable, well-priced and NFRC-accredited - definitely recommend. We required a repair and wanted dry verge capping adding to our roof. Another (cowboy) contractor came out to do the work originally, made an even bigger mess and then said the whole roof needed replacing, at a grossly-inflated cost! The Family Roofing Company were the only contractors on the NFRC website that I reached out to that actually turned up to survey when they said they would, and provided the quote a day later. They never proposed work that wasn't needed, and gave me confidence they could put right what others had done wrong. I was really concerned about the previous shoddy workmanship risking water damage to my property and asked if the work could be done any quicker. We had a team out 2 days before Christmas to make sure the roof was watertight, and between Christmas and New Year the work was fully completed. So we were squeezed in 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. Amazing. They turned up when they said they would and the team Sam and Simon were just ace - friendly, polite and professional; really lovely lads anyone would be comfortable around having them working on their property. I know who I'll be contacting for any future roofing needs; The Family Roofing Company are spot-on 👍🏻
We have had a leak in our bedroom for about 2 years. After the last roofer we got in did a slapdash job we came to the Family Roofing Company. We chose them based on the good reviews and the hope that they might actually care enough to help us. After receiving an estimate it was 2 months before they came to do the work, were done in half a day and we still had water leaking in within 24 hours. When I contacted Lee hoping for a bit of help and understanding I was met with 'we did the work as planned, any further work would need re-estimating'. So we have paid £1700 to a company to still be in exactly the same situation with the leak still unresolved. I understand finding and fixing a leak can be difficult but we put our faith in them as professionals and they just took our money and ran. Honestly I just want to cry.

🚨 Public Warning 🚨 The Family Roofing Company is completely unprofessional and unreliable. I traveled 30 minutes one way, waited unnecessarily, and was met with empty promises. Payment was never made. Complaints are ignored, communication is non-existent, and accountability is absent. Working with this company is a stressful, frustrating, and costly experience. If you value your time, money, or trust, avoid this company at all costs.
We recently worked with Family Roofing Company on a full roof replacement at our Care Home in Harrogate. This was a challenging project due to the constraints of the site, the nature of the building, and the added requirements of being in a conservation area. From start to finish, the project was handled with the utmost professionalism. Lee and his team were polite, considerate, and highly respectful of the care home environment. Communication was clear throughout, with time and costs carefully managed and regularly updated. The finished result is a high-quality, well-constructed roof that will serve the building for many years to come. We are especially grateful to Lee for ensuring that all work remained fully compliant with the conservation area requirements. Both myself and the home’s management team would have no hesitation in recommending Family Roofing Company and would gladly use their services again in the future.
