The McGuire's family company, The Final Touch Inc, is an amazing 5 star company. In this day and age of disposable products it's refreshing to see craftsmen who do their job as if it's an art in order to restore our treasures. I "inherited" my parents 8 piece bedroom and 10 piece dining room sets. This furniture was 65 plus years old and had seen a lot of wear and tear over time. The refinishing job was impeccable, the stain is rich looking and the finish is smooth and silky. They look brand new! Family & friends are constantly commenting at how beautiful they look. Since the McGuire's did such a phenomenal job with the prior projects, I hired them to refinish my kitchen cabinets and doors which would be much more challenging. I had enlarged my kitchen & required more cabinets and doors. The pre-existing doors are 25 plus years old, beautiful solid maple, but had yellowed and darkened over time. It was a tricky job because Final Touch had to not only refinish the old doors but also match them exactly to the new doors. The Amish company that made the original doors is still in business so Final Touch ordered new unfinished doors in the exact same style. So the old doors were stripped and both the old & new doors were stained a beautiful light sun-bleached shade while retaining the gorgeous grain of the solid maple. The kitchen turned out fantastic and the old & new doors are indistinguishable. Final Touch did a superb job, they know their craft well and are true Artisans! Thank you so much to the Final Touch Team!
Glenn did excellent repair on my damaged dining room table top. it's impossible to tell the top was damaged. I highly recommend these guys.
The Final Touch did an incredible job restoring our large antique front door. The team was easy to work with and did a beautiful job. Highly recommend!
These guys do great work and are the nicest to work with! They have refinished our kitchen tabletop, touched up some chairs, repaired a broken chair, and came to the house to remove a major blemish on a kitchen cabinet. I am convinced they can do anything with wood. I can't say enough about the quality of their work and what a lovely family business they are.
I had a piano that was all scratched up and needed refinishing. The team at The Final Touch knocked it out of the park. They are truly professionals and really enjoy their work. Highly recommend if you are in need of refinishing or touch up in the city of Pittsburgh!
