I have to say, every time I go, I get a great experience, the barbers and hairstylist are very professional and always give great advice. The personnel is very polite and the amenities are very clean and nice. I had a very relaxing experience and I received a great treatment and I was very satisfied with the services I received. Great job Gents Place!!! 5 stars highly recommend 👌
I have gotten several services with their Tanglewood location which is now closed. I tried this lock and was rescheduled twice. Then, they canceled my service at arrival within 15 minute allowable grace period. Their reservation system uses offsite operators who don’t know what’s happening at the salon. It’s like dealing with a government agency. Not what’s expected of a luxury service provider (prices prove that). Hard pass in the future.
Great place! great experience! Easy to get to. Lots of parking. Right on 1300 Shepherd Dr by I10 in the 610 loop. They have dominos and tvs and other things to keep you having a good time while being there. Also everyone was real nice and informative about options for my hair treatment.
Absolutely love the gents place! great service, great haircuts, they really make you feel special and like you are a part of the family :) Jordyn is the absolute best stylist! She is fun and super easy to talk to and always gives me the best haircuts, cant recommend more. Mauricio at the front desk is always a joy to see, he brightens up the place with his cheerful demeanor, witty remarks, and excellent service. All together, the gents place is a great place to get your haircut and hangout, highly recommend!
I’ve been a member of The Gents Place both at the old River Oaks District location and now at the new Washington Heights location, and I’ve loved both. This place is more than just a barbershop – it’s part business club, part barber – and every time I walk in I feel welcome and always leave in a better mood than I came. The experience starts at the front desk, where the concierges are super friendly and make you feel right at home. When it comes to the barbers, I’ve had Jordyn, Maryann, and Diamond cut my hair (among others), and every single time I’ve been extremely satisfied. They’re diligent, professional, and clearly know their craft inside and out. The extras are a big plus too – like the shoe shine service, which is super practical since I work in an office, and the events/popups they host from time to time, which add a really cool social element. All in all, The Gents Place delivers a consistently great experience that goes far beyond just a haircut. Highly recommend!
