This property is absolutely beautiful. It’s clear the grounds are cared for with intention and pride—every plant is healthy and well maintained. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed entirely by the woman working the front. This establishment is not kid-friendly. I visited with my two daughters (ages 5 and 6). When they noticed the cat, they were understandably excited. The cat was briefly startled, then—within less than a minute—was lying on its back, relaxed, actively playing with their stuffed animals and engaging with them. There was no distress. Despite this, while I was attempting to discuss fountain options, the front desk attendant interrupted me eight times to comment on my children interacting with the cat—who was literally laying on them. The interruptions were excessive, unnecessary, and condescending. We just walked out and she laughed and said “Have a great day”. She had dark hair, assuming no children by the way she spoke to my kids. I came with the intent to purchase a fountain. I was told there were “not many available,” which was demonstrably false. In the back area, there were well over six fountains, three of which I was seriously considering. I was particularly interested in a three-tier fountain priced around $2,300. I am still interested in purchasing it—however, I have zero desire to interact further with that employee. There was a man tending to the plants in the greenhouse and was very friendly and kind to my kids. To add to the unprofessionalism, she made an unsolicited comment about the property being a “local homeless hangout at night,” which was both irrelevant and inappropriate. This review would be five stars based on the property alone. The low rating is solely due to the front desk experience. Management should be aware that one person can undo the value of an otherwise exceptional business.
Beautiful healthy plants. Good customer service. Reasonable prices. Large selection of plants for indoor and outdoor. Knowledgeable staff. I love just walking through.
Um, can I live here? Not only are the plants extremely happy, healthy and diverse but there’s a crew of cats roaming the place asking for belly rubs. Folks working here are friendly and down to earth. What could be better? They even provide bug spray (take them up on it!).
*Update* still great - see below Hidden gem!! Great vibes, so peaceful. Tons of plants and garden items. Not your typical green house of sad plants. These folks care and it shows. This place is bigger than it looks. Just grab a little red wagon at the start and go get your plants. Parking kinda sucks. I usually go down the side street but it is totally worth it. I just want to go back to wonder around and look at everything.
I absolutely love this shop, it's like Disney for the plant lover. The overall esthetics from the colors, the huge variety of plants, and the peaceful sounds from the various fountains and waterfalls are amazing. The displays and color combinations really help if you are looking for particular decor. So much to choose from for your garden, yard or home. The prices are great, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and the plants are very healthy and well cared for. I highly recommend walking through the green houses and shop just to feed your soul. The serenity and peace is amazing.
