Wow! First off the food was phenomenal. Neither of us are big on British food so we got beef dips and they were the best I’ve ever had. Also we were in and out within a half hour and were not rushed or rushing the service was just that fast and friendly!
Well, I am not sure why there are negative comments about this place. Went for the first time. I like the atmosphere and it will grow into a more cosy and pub like atmosphere over time. It is brand new hence it cannot have that established pub aura. Our server was great, pleasant, patient. Cocktail delicious, not to mention happy hour was on and the drink was 11 dollars. We had the beet salad, the wings, steak with peppercorn and fries, and sticky toffee pudding. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious. The Wings were some of the best wings I had around GHA and GTA. The salad and steak perfectly cooked. And OMG the sticky Toffee, amazing. So, I really like the place, is it priced right? it is not cheap but the quality of the food is great. Great place, great food. Will I be back? Absolutely Yes. Comment to the restaurant please keep the quality of your dishes unlike other places around GHA that started great and then decreased in quality.
I brought my very best friend here for a reunion dinner. We were hoping for good food and amazing atmosphere and wow! The Iron Cow delivered! The service we received was wonderful, we felt so special and attended to by all the friendly staff. In addition to the incredibly welcoming environment, we were also so touched by the thoughtful gestures. For example, they put candles in our food when they heard it was a reunion dinner! That level of care and attention to detail made our night feel like it sparkled. Our server JC was a delight and we loved chatting with him throughout the night. Food wise, everything was delicious! Our favourites of the night were the shepherd's pie and the chicken wings and a standout dish was the bananas foster! We couldn’t get enough! Thank you to everyone at the Iron Cow for making our night so special and meaningful, I can’t wait to bring more of my loved ones to this true Hamilton gem!
The menu had such amazing options I genuinely couldn’t decide what to get. Everything I ordered/tasted was amazing and so tasteful - you can tell how much thought went into the menu and this restaurant in general. Great service and atmosphere!!
What an unbelievable and special experience. The food was impeccable, the atmosphere was amazing and the service was quick and extremely good. We had Jess as a server and she was amazing, and all of the other staff made us feel at home as well. At one point, one of the gentlemen saw my interest in the kitchen and brought me and my girlfriend up to the service window and let me get a better look at it! It was an amazing gesture that I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and everyone. Also congratulations to Chef Coulson for his win on top chef!
