Under new ownership so had to give it a go, new owners full of enthusiasm and that is reflected in the menu and coffee. Went for the birria toastie - 10/10, incredibly nice food. Will definitely be back.
Outstanding cafè under new ownership/management (Ben & Jack) - highly recommend visiting 🥰 The coffee was tasty & strong, food was cooked with love & so much flavour, and the new owners were a delight to speak to. Get yourself down for a coffee, meal or chat & support these guys as they certainly know what they are doing! P.s., Photo of food is one serve plated for two to share - portions sizes are generous!
Cutest place ever!!! my friends and I were visiting last summer when we stumbled upon this spot and woahhhh. We loved the aesthetic and the food. Very kind people, wish I could visit again just so I can eat here again!
A delightful quirky little place to eat. Menu is small but caters for everyone. Themed on CS Lewis The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. The food was delicious, the service great, friendly staff. Glad we found this place.
Came here with my wife. Absolutely loved our visit to The Lamppost Café. From the moment we walked in, the warm, vintage charm and C.S. Lewis-inspired decor made us feel right at home. The food was top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether you're after a hearty brunch or a sweet treat, this place delivers. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with friendly service. A true gem in East Belfast—we’ll definitely be back!
