We recently hosted a private event at The Mill and, despite having a 12-month lead-in from booking to event day, the team were consistently friendly, responsive and accommodating throughout the planning process. On the day, the service was fantastic -- warm, professional and attentive. Our guests commented on what a wonderful space it is, with beautiful artwork, lovely service and a relaxed atmosphere that made it such an enjoyable place to celebrate, and we're so thankful we could share the space. It’s also a must-see if you enjoy art and are passing through -- The Mill supports local artists and refreshes its installations semi-regularly, so there’s always something new and exciting to experience!
Lovely gallery space for emerging artists! Moved here in July as a studio artist.
Great gallery and studio space. Coolest vibes. Always freindly staff and intersting conversations. Fantastic art to see!
We attended the meal last Friday for the performance of popper as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. This was our first time attending this venue. The location is excellent. There is car parking opposite the Calvary Hospital which was only five dollars if you enter after 5 pm. It was a short walk from the car park Down to the mill. Approximately 150 m. On arrival there was some umbrellas and seats outside if people wanted to sit down there is a ramp leading to the entrance of the venue and a small couch opposite the bar area/reception. To the side was an art gallery With pictures on display at the far end of this was a door that went out to where the disability toilets are. The space was not crowded and very accessible and easy to manoeuvre around. The performance we saw was incredibly inclusive. We arrived at 5:30 pm for a tactile tour that was on offer prior to the performance. Were able to go up and meet the performance and fill all the props and get a description of what would be on the screen as the performance was occurring. This is the first time I’ve had this opportunity to do this prior to performance. During the performance were provided with audio description which a staff member helped me set up and the mail loaned me a pair of headphones as I did not have mine with me. The lighting in the space was good. The staff were friendly and it was easy to move around. I would recommend attending a performance at the mill.💕
Great little local gallery and artist space that showcases local artists and houses studios for local artists to work out of and create there exhibitions.
