This place is amazing, wish I would have found it sooner. Great customer service, good merch, and awesome atmosphere. As long as I'm working in the nashville area, I will be back time and time again.
In from outta town, needed a cut, found the Moose, and couldn’t be more pleased. Jess did an amazing job with my cut and stache trim. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend.
Cool place, but if you are looking to get a haircut here I would recommend you look at the photos on their website: that is what they specialize in. I came in looking to get mini-mullet type cut with a photo I provided and started by asking them to just take a little bit off (~1/2 inch), then we could go from there and the next time I looked up I basically just had a crew cut. Not that it is a bad haircut or anything, it looks a lot like the hairstyles they have up on their website which are fine. It is just not my style nor the haircut I asked for. Edit: Yes, I said I wanted a "mini mullet-style cut," showed a picture of Brad Pitt's mid-2000s styling, and walked out with a classic taper that looked like neither. Mind you, this review was originally 4 stars saying that I got a good haircut, just not the haircut I asked for. It didn't mention I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting for my haircut, didn't mention I originally booked scalp therapy and never got it, not even sure if I was charged for it, and frankly, I don't even want to know because it will only upset me more, especially considering that ignorant response from this business. If you look at a photo, say "I can do that," and then can't do it, I would be happier if you canceled the appointment than mess it up. If I pay 80-90 dollars for a haircut, and the stylist looks at the photo and SAYS, "I can do that," I would assume that they can do it anywhere else; not here, though, apparently. Furthermore, how poorly they respond to a 4-star review should speak to their customer support. Go spend 40-50 dollars somewhere else; apparently, all the extra 30 goes towards the pool table in the front.
The place was awesome!! Great vibe, great music, friendly people. Amazing cuts, Jess gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. I played a game of billiards and was even offered a beer! I love this spot! Whenever I come back to Nashville, I'll certainly visit.
The atmosphere, the service, and the professionalism, coupled with obvious experience made this place one of my favorite barber shops ever. I travel for a living and have been all over. This place is amazing. Jason Greer is the guy to go to. I know the others are great too, my personal experience was with him. Excellent cut. Used The Moose for engagement photos and it was perfect.
