I absolutely LOVE The Music Academy of North Carolina. As an early childhood music studio, a welcoming environment is so important for our young students and their families. Whether it's our new babies and toddlers coming in for their first Family Music class or our "big kids" starting their piano journey, MANC just feels like home. The expert staff are endlessly welcoming and the joy that they take in music-making shows through in everything that they do. I am so glad that my students, colleagues, and child get to come to this wonderful place and make music with these amazing people.
Our kids have taken music lessons at MANC for years. We love how the instructors teach based on our kids' individual interests so they're able to express their creativity in unique ways. Performing at regular recitals has increased their confidence and improved their presence in front of a crowd.
Incredible teachers and opportunities to reconnect to music for myself. Learned to play in highschool took lessons as an adult and am happy to reconnect to music through the music academy. Teachers are knowlegeable and you have multiple options for teachers based on your skill/music preference/time.
We have been students of MANC for 3 years and have had an INCREDIBLE experience. My children take piano, violin and cello at the academy. The teachers are accomplished musicians, many of whom still currently perform on a regular basis. They foster an atmosphere that is challenging yet encouraging. As a former music major myself and someone who was heavily involved in Los Angeles, CA music programs, I can confidently say that MANC is top notch in musical education and performance opportunities. We drive 45 minutes from Winston and it’s WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. If you want to truly invest in your child’s musical future, there is no better place than MANC.
