I’m not the type of person who gets easily comfortable with others and takes time for me to warm up around others. When I arrived to The Photo Studio, we were greeted and accommodated well and got briefed about things. After the briefing, that’s when I met Angelo (the photographer) and Jo (the make up artist). Angelo along with my aunt brainstormed on which outfits should be mixed and which one should come first etc. In terms of makeup, I don’t really put on make up cause every time I get it done, I don’t recognise myself. But when Jo did my make up, her hands are very light and she’s very gentle. She’s transformed me the way how I actually wanted with a little bit of tweaks (that made it even better). During the actual photoshoot, Angelo has hyped me up to boost my self-esteem and confidence. He’s shown me how to pose in front of the camera too. It was a fun and great experience especially i’m camera shy. During the viewing session, I’ve met Joel and he’s guided me through the selection of my photos. He’s really great at what he does and gives you time to actually choose between the beautiful photos taken by Angelo.
What a great studio. From the outside, you wouldn't even know they are there. Then you go in and get greeted by the amazing staff, they make you feel at home. You then step into the hair and makeup area along with change rooms where the kind staff handle all of your outfits. Jumping into the studio (a huge area) with multiple set areas, you'll find a perfect spot to get your best angle. The photographer was amazing, she was directive, kind and easy to talk to. I was very comfortable in her hands. Thankyou Photo Studio
The atmosphere was amazing, love how they make it seem very personal and professional. One thing I would say to the photographer, James, keep on doing what you're doing, thank you so much for the support and effort to make my photoshoot come alive. The raw results were absolutely stunning, during the process itself, he made me very confident and was such a sweetheart. Sarah, the makeup artist, was also amazing. Thank you for putting up with a lot of my request haha, super friendly makes me calm my nerves down. The team also very helpful and friendly, they gave me lots of energy which makes me feel excited doing the photoshoot. And for Claire, the creative producer, thank you for helping me pick up what's best for me to do. She was very easy going and professional at the same time. I would love to see you guys again sometime. Overall, it's a great experienced.
I had been dreaming about getting my modelling photos done for a very long time and this place exceeded my expectations and more. Everyone was so lovely and laidback but still had so much professionalism in every step of my journey here. My booking team Hillary and Jera were so nice to speak to and made me even more enthusiastic about travelling so far to get this done. I loved the service me and my mum were greeted with at arrival and the consistent communication we had with the studio up until then was very reassuring. There are some names I unfortunately can’t remember but they all helped immensely with calming my nerves and getting my bags sorted which for that I am very appreciative. My makeup artist, Sarah (if I got that right, apologies if not) was so top tier. I never really feel comfortable getting my makeup done but she made it so much fun and I’ve never looked better. Loved her stories. My photographer Eliza did such a great job with making me feel like a natural in front of the camera and the photos turned out beautifully. Both are very talented, fun to interact with and hyped me up so much. My meeting facilitator Eric was so kind, despite my technical difficulties and rescheduling. He made it so easy for my ADHD brain to focus and choose photos. He introduced to some very important modelling terms and pathways which I am very grateful for. The Photo Studio overall is just so great, a 10/10 experience for me. If anyone is willing to pay for the experience and photos, it is 100% worth it for the quality service and results.
I chose The Photo Studio to create my profile and kickstart my modeling career, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I was welcomed (as an Argentinean, straight out of a TV show!), I knew the experience was going to be amazing. Everything that followed gave me the confidence to truly be myself. Amber made me look flawless with hair and makeup, and then Jamila, the photographer, guided me through the poses, was patient with my not-so-great English, and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I also remember Belén, a lovely girl from Uruguay, who kindly asked me what music I wanted to listen to and made sure I felt supported throughout the whole session. And finally, during the viewing, Joel shared plenty of useful insights that I’ll definitely keep in mind. An excellent team that I loved meeting and am very grateful to. I’ll definitely keep them in mind for future shoots!
