Came in on Monday evening to try their pizza and cocktails. Their open pizza oven added to the amazing general ambiance. Delicious cocktails, with mature flavors. We got the bianco and funghi pizzas. Pizza toppings were all delicious, wish they had a little more flavor. Great for both a casual meal and post work get togethers!
Split a board, pizza, and two pastas between three and only had a little leftover. Not pictured was the baked conchiglie. Hadn’t heard much about The Salty Pig but everything was really good. For the board we stuck to local meat and cheese(I love prosciutto di parma but it’s less interesting to me than the in house stuff) and it was all really good. The rillette, a pork paste?, was a standout. The pizza was excellent, although maybe could have a had a wee bit less arugula. The pastas were what surprised me most. Both were really flavourful and well cooked.
Stopped in on a Thursday night with the family, no reservations, and waited about 35 minutes for a table. Totally worth it. We ordered two pizzas, the burrata salad, and a charcuterie board, and everything hit the mark. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, great crust and flavor, the burrata was fresh and creamy, and the charcuterie board was exactly what you’d hope for—quality meats and cheeses done right. Food came out quick, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual but lively. Bottom line: food was mad good, everyone left happy, and I’d absolutely come back.
Excellent Italian Restaurant in Boston’s Southend. The meatballs were as good as you can get. Served on toasted bread, plenty of sauce and mozzarella. The Margarita Pizza has a crunchy crust, perfectly cooked, delicious sauce, basil and cheeses. Nice Vibe with an open kitchen. Tyler our server was fantastic!!! parking can be a little challenging but it’s worth the search for a parking spot This is must go to restaurant
During our time in Boston, we visited this place twice, and both times were fantastic. The Italian food is authentic and unforgettable. On our first visit for dinner, it was a bit tricky to find a table, they had space but only offered seats at the bar, which isn’t ideal if you’re not into drinks. On our second visit for lunch, we were luckier and got a proper table, and the service was much better. Overall, the food makes it absolutely worth coming back.
