Look, it's a pretty place to have a girly lunch. However, when ordering well done ' poached eggs' for the Benedict I did not like hard boiled eggs sitting there?? Ordered this all my life.. The chicken salad was not good. It had a loose yogurty dressing and teeny tiny pea size pieces of chicken that ate weirdly. Love the ambiance. Not the food or watery martini.
I have visited this location multiple times for brunch and dinner. Parking is limited, you have to cross a busy street to get to the restaurant. Decor and food reminds me of a retirement dining hall. Prices blew my mind for what they consider “fine dining”.. also not sure why management responded to this saying I’ve never been here before.
The Sanford House Inn was the perfect location for my out of state relatives to meet here in Arlington for an early Christmas get together. The rooms were beautiful and quiet with lots of extras, the restaurant was fabulous, a true gourmet experience, and ALL the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We highly recommend the Sanford House Inn!
This was a very nice nostalgic quaint venue! My type of venue - loved it!!! My ladies day out group had the best time! You can talk with NO competition of loud noise from other tables or loud music! Service and food was excellent!!! I want to stay at the inn and visit the spa as a staycation very soon!!!
Recently stayed and the room and dining experiences were all wonderful, everyone is very friendly. A couples massage was part of our package and I would say that was underwhelming but everything else pretty great. Nice staycation spot to make you feel a little away and still close to home, at least in our case
