This is definitely a hidden gem in Houston where people can go and see the art of local artists. Many of the artists are more than willing to talk about their artwork and what inspired them or influenced their art.
We always enjoy visiting the Silos Sawyer Yards studios. It’s an excellent place to find original art and meet the artist, share thoughts about their individual artistic passion. I went this last Saturday which was a special event. There was a lot of buzz around the galleries. There were several offering snacks, wine and even live music. I encourage all art lovers to visit the Silos at Sawyer Yards. It’s a great place to pass the time with friends, family, lovers etc. You will surely find something you’ll love.
Amazing! A must for any artist or fan in Houston. Very cool idea. There is always an exhibition in the hall of the main area then artists and creators rent spaces throughout the building as their studios. It gives you the opportunity to meet, talk with and see the artists at work! Love this- should be in every city!
