My massage with Keesha was phenomenal — one of the best I've ever had. I will return based on the proximity to my home and quality of massage. Nevertheless, the facilities and overall experience at the spa will cut my frequency of visits from potential monthly to a single yearly, and are the reason for the mediocre rating. The atmosphere is cold and sterile, more like a doctor's office than a luxury spa. Plus, the only quality amenity is a sauna, and it offers no bells and whistles such as Himalayan salt, infrared, or light therapy. Could have been in an LA Fitness! Specifically: - easy wins: raise the temperature (hard to relax when it's frigid) and provide cozy throw blankets in the lounge (it's so sterile!). - fake flowers and beat up plastic cups felt really cheap. Also, the snack and tea game is WEAK! - robe hooks in the shower and restrooms are too low. Hung robes drag the ground and get wet. Ewe! - everywhere I went someone's personal effects were left behind, and the spa was pretty empty, so this felt gross. I think this is a combination of attendance and client disrespect based on the overall clinical vibe. - the steam room does not work well--feels like a large cold shower room with no shower. The shared eucalyptus spray is weak and sticky and overall making it feel more gross and cheap than luxurious and therapeutic. - there are no private changing areas. - the shower drain smelled like sewage. - co-ed pool and whirlpool is indoors and highly chlorinated. - full-clothed guests were regularly toured through, speaking loudly with staff. Guests should be passed to an attendant and voices hushed, with conversations directed to the locker area or check-in. - overall, spa needs to be updated to 2025 standards of luxury and wellness, but has a lot of opportunity to shift the experience now with low-investment enhancements.
I had the pleasure of visiting the spa for my birthday last week. I was greeted by the receptionists upon arrival, Samantha and Nicolette (or Nicole?) - both were very welcoming and friendly. My masseuse was Linda for an 80 min massage. Linda was attentive to my problem areas and ensured that I was comfortable with the pressure of the massage. After my service was over she offered me a complementary glass of champagne - a nice birthday perk. I also was able to enjoy the pool and a pool-side lunch. Overall the staff at the spa was very friendly so no complaints there. My only critique would be that this facility seemed a bit outdated and on the smaller side compared to other Four Seasons’ spas and hotel spas in the area. I also would have appreciated more menu options for the pool dining.
The atmosphere was peaceful and I left feeling completely refreshed. A special thank you to Mohammed he was the kindest, most attentive person in the whole establishment. He always makes me feel very welcomed. Highly recommend for anyone in need of true relaxation! Best luxury spa in Atlanta.
Incredible Care and Service – A Truly Five-Star Spa Experience I recently visited the spa at the Four Seasons Atlanta, and it was a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. I booked a deep tissue massage, and while I felt some soreness afterward (which can happen with deeper bodywork), what really stood out to me was how incredibly thoughtful and attentive the staff were in making sure I felt cared for and comfortable. Monica, the spa manager, along with the entire team, went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of exceptional. They genuinely listened, showed such compassion, and even gifted me a complimentary CBD wellness kit to help ease the discomfort I was feeling. That level of attention to detail and guest care is what sets the Four Seasons apart! The spa itself is stunning, peaceful, luxurious, and meticulously maintained. But it’s the people who made the experience so memorable. Every interaction was marked by kindness, professionalism, and a sincere desire to provide a world-class experience. I left feeling relaxed, supported, and deeply appreciative. Huge thanks to Monica and the entire spa team, I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for not just a treatment, but a truly elevated experience!
I frequently travel, and each time I do, I make it a point to visit a Four Seasons spa. I've explored many places worldwide and have experienced some of the finest Four Seasons spas. However, my visit to the one in Atlanta was, without a doubt, the worst! My masseuse, Mary, was courteous and provided an excellent massage, but the other staff members I encountered were quite unprofessional. They ignored me as they walked by and failed to acknowledge my presence. I waited in the lounge for about 20 minutes for my appointment, and during that time, several other masseuses passed without engaging me or checking if I needed assistance. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than in providing service. The pool area was quite basic, and the food available was overpriced. They added a delivery fee and a 22% room service charge, plus tax, and then had the nerve to ask for a tip on top of that. This was, hands down, the worst Four Seasons spa experience I've ever had, and to make matters worse, it was my birthday! I mentioned my birthday when making the reservation, but no one acknowledged it during my visit. I've seen photos from other guests who received cakes and treats with “Happy Birthday” written on them, but I got nothing. I informed the receptionist about this situation, and she did waive the bill for my poolside food.
