I received a gift card from my mother for a little pampering after an incredibly hard year and booked an appointment for Friday Jan 2. I did not read any reviews beforehand. Ivanna did my manicure, THE BEST MANICURE IVE EVER HAD. Ivanna is meticulously detail oriented; absolutely wonderful. Amanda did my pedicure and it was done very well. The services were great, the only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star review is because of the conversation when sitting with Amanda. I became incredibly uncomfortable when Amanda started speaking about the staff while there was another customer with Ivanna in the same room. I politely tried to steer the conversation, but Amanda dominated it. Talking about family health issues, family drama, and employee drama. As someone who has worked with customers from retail to corporate this is the golden rule of what not to do with new clients. I don’t think any customer should know who you feel slighted bc you didn’t get a thank you or card for providing a Christmas dinner for your employees. The conversation was really uncomfortable and inappropriate to have with any customer let alone a first time customer. As I said, I didn’t ready any reviews beforehand and wasn’t going to write one, but I looked to see if anyone had a similar experience to me. I found a review from 6months ago and they debated the review saying that customer wasn’t in their system, so I have decided to add my appointment confirmations. This experience is unfortunate bc I would have been a return customer bc the service was really well done. I just hope this review is taken seriously and can be used as a learning tool in the future. I believe it’s important to establish relationships with clientele when done appropriately.
Great first experience At the Spa on Wilson! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Location convenient with parking. Elise has been doing my hair for two years and I went to the spa to see her. I am embracing my natural hair colour after years of colouring. Elise was able to tone my hair to blend in with regrowth. She is a wizard with colour. My hair feels so healthy too! I came and will continue to come to the Spa for Elise but I’m looking forward to trying some of their other services. Thank you for a wonderful first experience!
Went for mother/ daughter spa pedicures with shellac and my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The value of the spa pedicure is amazing, it’s a two hour service and includes various specialized products including paraffin. Such a great treatment. The atmosphere was very relaxing and luxurious. Both of the Estheticians were very attentive and friendly. We were both very happy with our feet and can’t wait for our next visit.
I visited The Spa On Wilson for the 1st time & was welcomed with a warm & friendly smile from Amanda & other ladies there. I was booked for an express pedicure & a spa manicure with Ivanna, their nail technician. I was immediately made to feel comfortable, enjoying a delicous hot tea & chocolate while my feet were being taking care of. Amanda had some great suggestions for polish when I told her I was looking for pretty fall colors. I found this spa to be just beautiful & sparkling clean & a very comfortable happy environment. I will be booking something again in the future & would very much recommend visiting this spa to others...don't get it confused with another spa on the same street, look for The Spa On Wilson for your pampering needs.
I received a gift certificate for my birthday and booked a pedicure, thinking it was for Ancaster Spa—but what a happy surprise to discover THIS hidden gem instead! Absolutely blown away! From the moment I walked in, the spa smelled amazing and had the most beautiful atmosphere. Claudia and the owner, Amanda, were so warm and welcoming, and I received the best pedicure of my life. Claudia helped me pick the perfect polish for a wedding and went above and beyond in every way. Even got a complimentary vanilla latte—delicious! This is now my go-to spa. Highly recommend to everyone!!!
