Update: I just came again today 1/15, it seems the same lifeguards were still around doing the same dumb things they were doing last time. This is ridiculous. I will not be taking my kid here thank you very much. I'm writing this report because I'm dissatisfied with the lifeguards recent level of professionalism. I was planning on bringing my kid here to learn to swim, but just last time I went during lessons, one of your female lifeguards was constantly getting sidetracked and completely ignoring the younger children, even what looked to be making jokes and laughing with other lifeguards instead of her job. I expect lifeguards to be professional, rather than behave like high school students who don't realize how crucial their job is. As a parent and potential customer, I hope I can rely on you in the future to get your act together. Also, the rest of the staff were very kind, this applies more to the very unprofessional lifeguards that were on stand.
Car living has it's issues. This is a great place to refresh with $2 showers. Lots of trails and it's next to the skate park as well. Always friendly staff as well.
I was really disappointed with the way a situation was handled during my daughter's birthday party. There were two parties in rooms right next to each other. Both for girls, one an 8 yo girl and one a 7yo girl. The parties had the same theme and the room names are the same Contiga North and Contiga South. I happened to walk by when this employee with a wrist brace was being completely nasty to my 69 year old father. He apparently had walked into the other party room, instead of ours for his granddaughter. And he did it 3 times. No one bothered to ask him any questions or be kind, or wonder why did this man wander in here? So I'd love to meet the compassionless party host, they couldnt be bothered to just be polite and ask him. He knows he was there for his granddaughter's party and her name, this could have been easily resolved. Instead Trails rec was trying to kick him out and still not asking just base line questions. Once I came upon them, apologized and told her he has dementia, she did not QUIT. And repeated again what he did. It was an honest mistake and no one was effected by it. He didn't walk in and eat their cake! They acted liked he walked in a child's locker room. Which in fact someone was complaining about that at the front desk when I arrived and they dismissed that lady, but chose to really lay it on thick for something as innocent as walking into the wrong IDENTICAL room. I had to again say his diagnosis and say I was taking him to our party and walk away. No apology, no compassion, no hospitality. Just cruelty because some mom chose to assume the worst for no reason. Very dissapointed...and hurt for my dad. He was so embarrassed and hurt for the way he was treated.
Brought my kids here to swim while we were visiting from out of town. Staff are incredibly kind and the people who come here all wonderful. Kids had a great time in the lazy river (and so did I). I appreciated the large family changing area, too.
This workout center is better than the average commercial exercise clubs! Much cleaner much nicer. It’s in the city of Centennial and never seems to be crowded. My only complaint is being a senior citizen. You want to get into silver sneakers and it’s virtually impossible. They need a better system set up, whereas everybody can get a chance to use that portion of the club. They won’t let you sign up for a particular class unless it’s 75 hours only in advance, I never heard of such a thing and that’s why I do not believe they should get a five star rating.
