Was late 8 minutes for my wax appointment because I work in NHS and had an emergency call right before the end of my shift. Staff never took me and had to cancel the appointment entirely. Very rude. What do you mean I pay the deposit and you can’t take me if I’m late? Ridiculous
I've been a regular customer at Wax Bar for almost a year now, especially for my nails. I've always appreciated how my nails are done exactly the way I like them. From my experience, the staff has been friendly, and I make it a point to share my preferences so they can work it out the right way. Thank you for all your hard work!
As someone who is heavily pregnant and by that I mean 38.5 weeks I phoned up and mentioned I will be around 10 mins late the waxer still told me to come in and she said she can see what she can do. I showed up exactly 8 mins late and refused service because I was late!!! Which I literally mentioned to her over the phone I would be then very easily says oh you can walk over to Lothian road to get another appointment. In my head I’m thinking can she not see that I’m already struggling to walk and I kid you not she said “it’s not long walk for you it may be only 15 mins” 15 mins for someone who is heavily pregnant and is suffering from severe pelvis pain umm IS ALOT. Very very disappointing went somewhere else and told them about the service I got and they were even shocked about how uncaring they are. They have lost a customer would never recommend this place don’t tell someone to “come in and we can see what we can do” then waste my time for nothing especially when vulnerable. Would rate 0 stars if cold never had bad service like this before but after today I’m never returning
